What was happening to me? I touch the wall, to see if I will get the vision again, but I didn't. That's when I saw the drawing on the wall. Drawings of wolves—like wolves evolving from normal wolf, to the beast they've created. I knew it, those wolf-like beast, aren't just normal existing wolf, they're being created. I turned around, searching for more clues, that's when I saw it. A syringe, loaded with some kind of chemical. I picked it, turning towards professor Rex, only to realize he was gone.

"Sure," Then, turning to Grendel, he asked, "May I ask that you take off your tunic, my lord?" "Hahaha! Of course!" Surprisingly, Grendel didn't hesitate to take off his tunic from under his golden robes, baring his muscular form. And on top of his heart was a black palm print, sparkling with golden sparks! Caleb studied it for a while, and his eyes narrowed right then. "It's the mark… of a Scion rank!"

“Do you see anything that interests you?” The tapestry furthest left was a simple design depicting the Higher God of Bloodshed, Arners, surrounded by a sea of--well, blood. He had on his typical wolf skull mask and black cape with a giant axe gripped tightly in his hand. The middle tapestry was a lighter scene, simply a forest with a woman lying up against a tree with a stag cozying up to her. The woman looked quite familiar, as if Ursa had seen her before. The final tapestry hung up depicted a castle on a ledge surrounded by a sea of lava. Overhead, a large storm harassed the castle, incessantly trying to get the attention of the people within. Although she was flanked by a worried Hayden and a terrified Titan, she felt no fear, only a nagging sense of urgency. Grandmother Alma led them down a wide corridor whose walls were cluttered with countless paintings. There were a few shelves lining the walls and these were clustered with ornaments. Cory suddenly realized that many of the paintings and ornaments were different depictions of owls: brown, black, spotted, grey, snowy and frequently perched in elm trees. Other paintings showed landscapes and creatures Cory hardly recognized. Those were otherworldly things: beings with many eyes and animal ears, little grey-skinned children, wolves walking on their hind legs.

My eyes scan the portraits one by one, trying to find inspiration, when my eye travels to a corner I rarely venture to look at. I swallow. My eyes lock on the all-black painting. The only color is a pair of red glowing eyes. This. This image is of my nightmares. I was plagued for years with this image. I haven't thought of it in so long. A shiver shoots up my spine as I break my eye lock and return to my blank canvas. **** I painted for a bit, but decided I needed to ground myself a bit more. I head downtown to a little neighborhood I like to call Hallow Glen. I don't know why. I just like the way it sounds.
