Sang pengirim menuliskan kalimat tantangan sekaligus ancaman di bawah kotak permainan. Beberapa dari penerima tantangan itu sengaja mengabaikan peringatan yang terlihat konyol tersebut. Mereka berakhir hilang secara misterius, dan beberapa dari mereka ditemukan tewas dalam keadaan mengenaskan. Sudoku adalah kutukan! "Selesaikan dengan benar atau mati!"
