Chapter Seven Cairos’s POV The Sky Gardens were one of the few places in the Underworld where people could still forget about the world that had ended around them. For a place built beneath a ruined world, it looked almost peaceful. Zuri had been enjoying every second of it. She moved from one flower to another, asking questions and pulling me toward anything that caught her attention, while I followed behind her and allowed her to enjoy the day.

"Mission failed. You're going to be wiped out. Do you want to restart the mission and keep trying to save the underworld queen, Daniela Falcone?" I shook my head. "Just wipe me out." "Understood. NOELLE'S POV, When the vortex spits me out, I land on the ground with a hard thud. My body hurts everywhere from the impact of the fall. I cough and slowly sit up to look around me. The Under Realm is everything I expected it to be. As far as the eye can see there is a black and red wasteland of rocks and what seems to be lava. There are volcanoes, big steep black mountains, and strange rock formations. In the rocks, there are faces sculpted with terrified expressions. But what creeps me out the most are the bones laying everywhere.
