Unicorn Shifter Academy Novels & Stories

Since it’s senior year, my last chance, I am determined not to mess up this time. I dart a glance at the clock on the console. I’m ahead of time, actually. My school in the Caribbean is a special school—it’s for shifters. All kinds of shifters attend—wolves, bears, ravens, panthers, and a lot of others. The point of the school is to have unity among all in the shifter community. We’ve been trying to maintain peace, but I’m not sure wolves will ever get along with the big cats. It’s nearly impossible.

Spurred by Temujin’s interest, on the fourth night, Sasha taught them other sailing skills, including rigging and knot-tying. Sasha said it was a subject commonly taught in the northern Slayer schools. “Slayer schools?” Temujin echoed. “Aye, mine was Wani-ryū. Wani Academy. Don’t the Salamanders have any? I know the Storks do.” “Yes,” Aki said. “On the Ethereal Nest, the best one’s Senten School of Sword and Sorcery.”

she cringed at the word, "teach me to protect myself." "You want to learn how to fight?" "... Yes. I do." "I think the Luna of a Warrior pack should be able to fight," Kal nodded. "It'd be pretty hypocritical if she couldn't." "After the process and once you've shifted," Greyson nodded. "Thank you," Indianna said and the bell sounded, signalling the start of the next lesson. "I'll meet you outside class," Greyson said to Indianna. "Or you could just meet me in our next lesson."

"Come on, Sutton. Don't make me come in there." "My name is Audrey," I muttered, dragging myself out of bed. "And if you come in here, I'm throwing something at your head." "Looking forward to it," he called back, sounding amused. Twenty minutes later, I was standing in the academy's private training grounds wearing leggings and a sports bra, shivering in the pre-dawn chill while Luca circled me like a predator assessing prey. "Shifting isn't about force," he said, moving behind me. "It's about letting go. Trusting your wolf."

They go to school with human kids, so they have to keep the secret of being shifters from the humans in their school. There are some teachers who are wolves so it helps provide guidance to the wolves who may be struggling. It also helps Adam keep track of Pack members. Any who might be a risk to the Pack or themselves in particular. This kind of secret is hard for adults, much less teens who are struggling with first shifting, hormones and finding their mates.

“Sorry, sorry, I almost sneezed.” Roy fanned himself before continuing, “Didn’t you hear? About the rumors?” Fruto only frowned and Ponjie tapped his foot impatiently. “Apparently, you, P-Ponjie, is a Math genius that soared high to heavens and was the first ranked in the country. It says that you are an undefeatable champion that got bored and went to train here in this academy rather than becoming a future scientist. And F-Fruto, on the other hand, was so powerful that he got powers given by the Tiger God when he was a baby, got secluded from the world to hide from evil forces, and eventually entered this academy through defeating the headmaster in a 1V1 battle. The two of you joined hands

Crazy how getting through the worst shit flips the script. Turns straight enemies into ride-or-die. Survival don’t give a fuck about old rules but it writes new ones in blood.

But there had been absolutely no changes in my body. “Look here.” Ash pointed at the chart explaining the Strains. They were divided into three subs: Shifter. Channeler. Psyon. “In short, shifters turn into animals. Channelers draw their powers from nature. And psyon, they work with the mind,” Ash explained. Her eyes were fixed on the hologram screen in the corner of the training room. “Which one do you fall under?” My data didn’t show any sub; it just showed a negative mark.

“It’s pretty simple when you have such an amazing product. Just wait until they see the one you’ve got coming.” She leaned into Noah’s chest, enjoying just being there, cradled by his arm. “Have you seen the new game, Maya?” Josh asked, his eyes sparkling with enthusiasm. “I haven’t. What’s it about?” “Oh, it is amazing,” Josh gushed. “It’s called Shifter Warrior.” She nodded, glancing at Noah from the corner of her eye. “Let me guess. Does the warrior change into animals?” “A panther!” Josh exclaimed. “How frickin’ cool is that?”

I see Jax out of the corner of my eye writing furiously in his notebook with a slight smile on his face. You ready for my birthday party? He wrote. Yes but I wish we could just do one party together. I wrote back. I am excited to shift. He wrote. I gave him a small smile in return. I'm terrified of him shifting. I'm terrified that when he shifts he will find out who his mate will be. I'm terrified it won't be me. Turning 18 is a big deal. College, high school graduation, and shifting all in 3 months. After about 45 minutes the bell rung for our next class. He scooped me in a hug and kissed me.
