Instantly, I begin to see images, flashes of a life. Hundreds of unicorns running through the forests. A flourishing life that suddenly changes when humans begin hunting them for the magic in their horns. I see images of slain unicorns, their horns cut off mercilessly, some animals still alive, dying slowly as they bleed out from their wounds. The images switch and now the unicorns are hiding, running from the hunters. I see a unicorn, as beautiful as Lucero leaning toward me. “Run to the Fae King. He will protect you.
