Kai's blood didn't look like it was fighting an infection at all. It looked prepared for one before the infection had fully arrived. Not resistance, exactly. Not immunity either. Something underneath both words, still without a name. Three completely different presentations. One shared signature threading beneath every single one of them. I assumed error first. Reran the calculations, recalibrated the analyzer, pulled fresh aliquots, and processed everything again from the beginning. The anomaly held. I checked the equipment logs for malfunction. Clean. It looked like the skin of a deep-sea predator, smooth, ribless, and swallowing the red laser-sights of the enforcers until the dots disappeared into his hide without leaving a heat trace. I swiftly stood up and rushed out of the office before anyone else had a chance to stop me. Well that went alot smoother then I thought it would go. Breathing out in a huge sigh of relief, thinking to myself that maybe today was going to turn out alright. But, fate, had something else in mind. Turning the corner, my right foot starts to slide across the floor, causing me to do a weird half split. Struggling to stop myself from slidding more, only to have my other foot slip in the other direction twisting my knee in a way it's not suppose to. In addition to my shoulder hitting hard enough into the brick wall it knocks the air out out me for a few seconds. I try once again to gain my balance,

Wait, I think I'm going to throw up ughh. I was about to stand up and I looked at myself and I have no clothes on. Literally nothing, not even my shorts, completely naked! Well, I do have fine lines, not stretch marks I don't have those. I looked on the other side to find my clothes and it was there.... right on top of someone.
