“Do you smell it?” My frown deepened. “What nonsense are you blabbering about? Have you lost your mind?” He turned his head away from me, doing that weird sniffing thing. “The whole palace needs to be rid of moonveil blossom.” Moonveil blossom. There was nothing like that planted anywhere on my grounds. “I think you have officially lost it and you better pray to the goddess that I don’t lose my shit.” “Who put this flower here?” He motioned to the discard bouquet. “Whoever put this here is bathed in the moonveil blossom.”

Started to chill a little. Today was Julie's discharge day. On the way out of the hospital, Bruce grabbed a bouquet from a florist. Julie grinned, reaching for the bouquet. "More roses? You're seriously still this sweet?" Bruce shifted it away. "They're not for you. Suri loves white roses. Haven't seen her in days. She might be upset... thought these might help." Julie's hand hung there, then dropped like dead weight. She pressed her lips tight, eyes flickering with something ugly. "Figures. She's a woman too—gotta keep her feelings in check, right?"

She looked toward the window. The flowers were different. The four glowing red blossoms — the ones that had pulsed gently for weeks, always four, no more — had changed. There were six now. Two new petals had unfurled overnight. Quietly. Without warning. She blinked, breath catching. The fifth looked newer, less confident in its shape, but the sixth… The sixth pulsed stronger than the others. Brighter. And underneath that red light, the glass of the window had started to fog.

But the smell; burning fabric, plastic, flesh, hit her like déjà vu. She stumbled back, chest heaving. Not again. From the hallway came a final, echoing scream, and then the unmistakable crackle of fire.

(Third Person’s POV) In a luxurious restaurant, a beautiful lady is silently sipping her tea while glancing at the scenery outside. It’s already spring and the flowers are slowly blossoming. The trees sway elegantly to the breeze of the wind, making the scenery harmonious to look at. This tranquillity was interrupted when a young handsome man took a seat in front, blocking the great view. The lady blinked her eyes twice and looked at the man sitting in front. “Oh, you’re here, President Lu.”

She walked alongside Liam, pointing out different flowers and explaining their meanings. They picked roses, symbolizing love and affection, as the base of the arrangement, representing Liam's heartfelt emotions towards Rose.

Her hair fanned out in the wind in layers like tentacles and blood trickled down her eyes as she spoke in nothing but echoes. "A blooming rose attracts two maidens. The scent of it shall cause the cherry blossoms to flourish and the Belladonna to wither. Love will find one and break the other. You, Alexios Rose, shall be the architect of all their undoing."

They were red and shiny like jewels, reflecting the sunlight that came through the trees. Elara noticed the flowers too and recognized them. She turned to me and said, "Scarlett, look at these flowers. They're called Crimson Bloom. They can help heal wounds and injuries." I was curious and moved closer to see the beautiful Crimson Bloom. The petals were soft like velvet, and the stem had small thorns for protection. It seemed strong and alive, capturing my attention. "Tell me more, Elara," I asked with genuine interest. "How do these flowers help with healing?"

Rei said. “That could be the way to expel your friends, leaving them here.” Tris pulled his phone out to call Kyle. “We are with the twins. Rei is talking about another blossom he saw when they were last here. Is there any way we can use it to get Shyfter and Anaki out of them and keep them here?” Tris asked in a hushed tone. “What did the other blossom look like?” Artemis asked. “The 2 we had were more white and red, the 3rd blossom was the complete opposite, more red than white.” Rei replied.
