I noticed Jane just smirked while still, her eyes were on me. Laurene adjusted her seat to face me clearly. “Who’s that man who helped you earlier? Do you know him? Right?” Laurene confronted me when she asked me that in a lower voice. I noticed Jane also come near to me and seated in front of Jane. Looks like this two are now seriously investigating a crime scene even though there’s nothing. Are they detectives? Really? Ugh! “You should talk to us about that man tomorrow. I am interested to know about that man..” Jane uttered in a serious tone while still raising her brows at me. Afterward, she gets up, and then she leaves me and Laurene here.

“Jane. Thank you for joining us. Please, have a seat.” The two people sat, a bit shakily, in the two chairs opposite Raven and Kade. As if they’d been called to the court of a king and weren’t quite sure how to behave. Jane reached a pale hand into her tiny purse and pulled out a bright red memory stick with an ordinary USB and no markings at all on the case. She put it on the table between them. She replied with a sarcastic tone "Okay, seems like you're ready. Do you have any idea who the killer is?" Maria clenched her fists trying to hold back her rage against me. She handed the file back to him and stood up. “I bet within this month the murderer will be in jail screaming with anger to us, and threatening us,” Officer Macapagal remarked like it’s a common thing to this kind of job but Jane shook her head, shoving off the words those criminals they have put on jail. "Although we are not certain if it's the person you're looking for, there is indeed a Carla Woods here," the young man replied. For the past few months, he had been investigating the whereabouts of Jane in Serene City. He searched the surrounding cemeteries thoroughly. All potential individuals had been ruled out.

Jane’s POV It was quiet when I walked into the house, the blinds all drawn and the sunlight basking in, just the way I liked it. I leaned on the window in the living room, taking a look at the space that had been my home for the last three years. I couldn’t let it go. I couldn’t let a simple mistake ruin a lifetime of vows; a simple misunderstanding get in the way of love. Shawn was distracted, but he loved me. I knew that. All I had to do was make him see me again. And I had to forget Vegas and everything that happened in it. It was something I should never have done. I would talk to Shawn about it.
