“Rule two,” Aariz continued, his gaze never leaving her. “You do not speak to any man here. Not the guards, not the staff, not anyone. If a man so much as looks at you too long, I’ll put a bullet between his eyes.”
Her lips parted in shock. “That’s insane—”
“Insane?” His laugh was low, cold, carrying no humor. “No. That’s possession, TimTim. Learn the difference.”
She shrank back, trembling, but his steps closed the distance, dragging her back into the cage of his presence.
