Vali Lucifer Juggernaut Drive Novels & Stories

Vanguard pressed, watching her carefully, “that he’s grown beyond what he once was.” Lucia laughed. It was low. Bitter. Furious. “So now you gossip with prisoners?” she spat. “You come here trembling because of a rumor?” Vanguard bristled. “Watch your tone.” Lucia pushed herself upright despite the weakness clawing at her limbs. “Guerrero Valenti does not haunt you,” she said coldly. “Your own fear does.” Vanguard leaned closer. “If he lives, he will come.” Lucia’s fury ignited. “And if he does,” she hissed, “he will finish what you could never start.”

With the Void-strength flooding my legs I was a blur across the rotating wheels. Valerius hissed, a wave of condensed shadow-matter slamming into the platform ahead of me. The impact reversed the direction of the gears trying to pull my legs beneath the crushing iron teeth. I did not back down. I drove my coated hand directly into the junction of the main drive-wheel. SKREEEEEECH. The metal groaned, sparked and shattered under the vacuum-force of my grip. The gears seized. Valerius lunged from the gantry above her shadow-claws aiming for the Lunar Circlet on my head.

“It’s not theirs any longer. And it’s not like anyone’s using them at all. You oughta be happy that someone cares enough to let ‘em loose again. Out in the galaxy, where they belong. Free.” “Mhm.” Lucifer then fished out a wicked-looking rifle from a crate, and held it up proudly. It looked like a mix between a railgun and a plasma thrower, and certainly looked like it could do some serious damage. “It’s time to get loud,” ze said with a grin. — Pilot: Lucifer Loadout: Primal Machinations “Mantis” Rapid Strike Chassis [B] Myrmidon Technology “Thumper” Rotary Ordnance Launcher [B]

Because before I could, I already knew the next order in my throat. “Vincent,” I said, turning to the driver’s seat as the man glanced at me through the mirror. “Call in every favor. Mobilize all allies. Lucien has officially lost his mind. He’s bitten more than he can fucking chew. I want his fucking head, Vincent. And I'll get it.” Vincent nodded once, already tapping commands into the SUV’s secured comm panel linked to every underground network we own. He drove with one hand and punched orders and commands in the comm line of the SUV. Each SUV I owned had it. Lucien had started a game that he thought he would win. Too bad, I'd tear him apart before he did.

Lucifer ordered the team. Emily hopped onto one uništi with David, while Lao got on the other with Peter. Sabu stayed on the ground. Lucifer flew in front of the team, and glared at the three heads. He didn't think that the team couldn't win, no, he simply had a more unnerving thought that was setting off warnings signals. 'If you're here, that means they might be coming as well.' Lucifer channeled an explosive orb while the team ran behind him. Lucifer threw the orbs only to have the attack met by Fenral's barrage of ice. Lysandrea sent an arrow towards the running team members. Lucifer barely caught the arrow with an orb.

He stood up and left the office not even waiting for Jared. Jared hurriedly followed him behind and they left for Skyler's apartment. Lucifer had told Kenneth, his personal driver that he won't be needing his help, instead it was Jared who drove the car as per Lucifer's directions. While driving, Jared was talking as usual while Lucifer just ignored him all through after he had told him Skyler's address to her home. When Jared saw that Lucifer ignored him, he then stopped talking and focus on the road. Seeing Jared stopped talking “ are you tired of talking ” Lucifer said.

Chapter 24: The Butcher of Life Nine The rain didn't just fall on Julian; it seemed to avoid him, parting around his frame as if afraid to touch the darkness radiating from his skin. The "Cleanup Team"—six men in tactical grey ceramic armor, wielding high-frequency pulse rifles—halted ten yards from the wreckage. They were professionals, trained to bag supernatural anomalies, but they weren't prepared for the ancient pressure now flattening the grass around the car. "Target identified," the lead mercenary barked into his comms. "Dr. Valerius is non-compliant. Engaging with stasis rounds."

"The firing pins in those disruptors are electronically locked to the Janus relay. And I’ve just redirected the relay to a closed loop." The mercenaries pulled their triggers. Nothing. The room was a dead zone for any technology not authorized by Thalynn’s unique biometric signature. Lucian stepped forward, his presence expanding until he loomed over his father. He didn't attack. He didn't even draw his weapon. He simply looked at the man who had raised him to be a monster. "You have two paths, Father," Lucian said, his voice a low, final vibration. "This is the only mercy you will ever receive from me."

“Only specific rogues were aware of the plan to kidnap Juniper, because according to the rogue spell caster, Beatrix, they needed her. According to her, Juniper is a hybrid demigoddess and so her powers are not only of shifter origin but also of the Celestial realm. I didn’t know where they were keeping Juniper, but Julian had asked me yesterday morning to bring up a tray of food to a restricted room. No one was allowed in besides him and Beatrix, when I arrived in the room a young woman was there.” “Juniper,” I whisper. “Yes.” “So why are you telling us all of this? Why are you turning your back on the rogues?” I query, wanting to get to the bottom of her motivation. She looks down at her l

His gray irises burned with a dark, primal brand of possessive mania, his jaw clenched so hard the silver scars along his jawline stood out like rigid steel cables under his collar. "Vance..." Julian growled, his deep register dropping into a dark, feral rasp that ghosted hot against her frost-rimmed cheek. "The lead driver just stepped out of the cabin chassis. He isn't carrying a visible vanguard weapon, but his kinetic signature is spiked. His neural nodes are actively broadcasting to an encrypted transponder loop three kilometers back in the flats." "He is maintaining a secondary recording loop for his regional syndicate elders, Julian," Vivian murmured softly.
