My best friends burst in, arms full of fabric and excitement. “Aurora!” Selene exclaimed, chasing Xander out of the room. “Wait until you see what we've brought for you!” They unveiled a dress that took my breath away. It was a masterpiece, combining elements from various supernatural traditions. It sparkled like a vampire's skin in sunlight, while the skirt flowed like water, reminiscent of the fluidity of werewolf transformation. The dress had beautiful, fairy-like stitching around the bottom, and hidden within the fabric were magical symbols for love and safety.

A big, burly guy in a black leather jacket loomed above me, grabbed my hand and pulled me off my barstool. I didn't want to dance, but I didn't want to make a scene either. It was called vamscren and it allowed vampires to walk in the sun for a while without being affected by it. Somehow, vamscren made me feel a bit better about becoming a vampire as I didn’t have to always be limited by the sun. The vamscren was made from dragon tears and Edmund and Hillary, along with Dana, arranged with the manufacturers to always supply it to the castle, so we never ran out. After drinking, I got my cloak and flew out of the castle, to see my former town.

Sam had kept waiting for an opportunity to take her aside, but none seemed to present itself. It was a rowdy and bustling crowd of hundreds of vampires and human warriors, and as the drinking and feasting went on, the merriment turned into an outright dancing party. More musicians came, the music grew louder, the drink stronger, and people paired up, dancing in old-fashioned ways, locking arms and spinning in one circle, then locking arms and spinning in another. William asked quietly, his eyes glued onto the dance floor, where couples were twirling and holding each other tight. I nodded, giving his hand a light squeeze. "I'm going to go get you a drink," he offered, and I thanked him. Three vampire girls performed a strange dance. It was really good and enchanting. At least I wasn't going to get bored. Turning to my left, I sighted a couple of boys and girls making out in the dark corners. A hand reached out and pulled me off to the side. I gasped in fright, and I was about to hit the person when I turned around and found myself face-to-face with Vlad.

He enlightened her. "Breed? There are breeds? Aren't you all the same?" Adrianna was dumbfounded to know that vampires have different breeds. He got up and went to grab a book from his shelves, and hand a heavy book to Adrianna. "This will help you because I am not good at explaining things and facts." Said Alaric. Her palms touched the cover of the book which looked antique and royal. She read the title 'Vamoose', called Vampire in latin. "You didn't tell me you have kids." Alaric asked her.

Mateo asked with a bitter smile, sitting on the same counter with brandy. Lucas, Alice, Chris, Stella, Riley and Mina decided to dance in pairs on the stage. Suddenly, someone grabbed Mina’s hand tightly. “Dance with us also, darling!” said the tall pale guys with golden eyes. “Leave my hand” shouted Mina to alarm others. “Let go of her hand, leech!” shouted Riley angrily and removed the tall guy’s hand from hers. “Vampires? I thought they were not allowed in your club!” Chris turned towards Lucas in astonishment.

Tony cleaned up and left shortly thereafter. Since I was going to a Council meeting I showered again. Vampires were notorious for smelling sex on you and then telling you about it. I dressed in red. The Council had no sense of style so I liked to show them a thing or two. I wore a red, sleeveless turtleneck and red pants that were super tight over my ass and thighs but flared out gradually at the knees until they showed only the tip of a red snakeskin shoes. A red duster completed the ensemble. I wore a gold watch encrusted with rubies and two of my favorite rings.

“There is something you can do for me. Why don’t you show this girl a good time? I really need it!” She grabbed my hand and pulled me down toward the dance floor. Max deftly sidestepped through the throng of people until she found a relatively empty area to dance in. She then leaned in closer to me and pressed her body against mine, her coy smile sending shivers down my spine. The music was loud, the lights were flashing, and the energy was infectious. Max moved to the rhythm of the music, and I couldn’t keep my eyes off her. Her movements and how her body spoke to me made my mouth water.
