Torn Between Alphas

Torn Between Alphas

A song of the sword, twirling on the breeze. And then the voice, dry and entertained. “Didn’t expect to see you lot still alive.” Serena stood up too fast. There was one hard smack to her chest. A figure stepped out from among the trees. With her hood up, two long blades crisscrossing her back, and a silver clasp at her collar shaped like a falling star. The Huntress. “ Huntress." Lucian breathed. Serena didn’t know if she felt shocked or relieved.

The Vampire King

The Vampire King

She bit her lip and turned to the tense Tantario. “I hasten to disappoint you, but our laws also apply to the Highest,” the Huntress remarked slyly, casting an inquisitive glance towards Felix standing behind her. - And who is this? Victim? Slave? Lover? - Who?! – the knight and Tantario said in one voice, looking at each other with horror. “No, just such a thought makes me sick,” Tristan finished dryly. - Am I really meeting a chaste vampire? – she flashed her eyes playfully.

The Lycan's Curse

The Lycan's Curse

He said, “I like you. Are you mated or what?” Nuahanna almost couldn't believe it, the fire in her eyes lit up. “I wonder what you have done to my ancestor, but just a words from you I don't think it's a good thing. If that's the case,” she clasp her hands and the bloody glow of pagodas brightened. “Then expect the same from the army as myself. I, Nuahanna, the one remaining army will fight to the end!” “What a pity,” the scary-face man mumbled. “You know what? Not all the huntress despaired, do you want me to tell you the one and only huntress that fall from my tricks?”

Fated To The Werewolf Huntress

Fated To The Werewolf Huntress

I whisper seductively, running my moist tongue along her ear lobes, earning moan filled grunts from her. "Quit your dumb actions" she lash, knocking her heavy metal carved cross bow against my head after retrieving her senses. "Never in your damn life attempt such again!" she feign annoyance, aiming the cross bow towards my neck region. "I had you there princess" I chuckle, heightening her rage. "Am a Huntress Damien's, coexistence between us both is impossible" she huffs, shielding her reddened cheeks. "An important question Damien, why are you undetectable?" She wiredly ask, earning cringed expressions from me.

Reese smirked, with a hint of a chuckle and at that moment Angelo and Felix came in. “The black hunter killed him?” Felix questioned curiously with some fear planting at the bottom of his voice. “Mmhm.” Just then, a woman in a red dress. The top part was tightly fitted with a thin strap on each side of the dress. A sparkly silver belt across her waist and the bottom part of the dress was more flowy and calm but revealed one of her legs. Elegant and badass. She had melanin brown skin and sleek healthy black hair that I only thought Nem had possessed but I was wrong before she does. She had scarlet red heels and a dark red purse in her hand.

A Huntress for the Rogue

A Huntress for the Rogue

Like a twist of fate that has become tangled and confusing. That’s besides the point though, I remind myself. Kate is right, one thing that should take priority is finding out why someone would hunt her this far across the country. Albany was one of the places on the map that didn’t have any hunter spots, at least that was information last known and that said it’s been a few years since any reconnaissance has been done to prove that theory still holds true. Her wounds were inconsistent though with how Hunters normally deal with their victims. Slitting her wrists, that large scar on her abdomen, even if the silver bullet was a part of their ammunition, everything else doesn’t add up.

The Hunt

Hello and Happy Summer to Everyone!! The sequel to "The Hunt" is called "The Dragon's Treasure" and it is being posted one chapter at a time on the web app here on Good Novel! (The first chapter will post this afternoon - June 14, 2022) You won't be able to find the book on the mobile version for a few months yet (it has to go through approval and I don't want to make it pay to read quite yet as I work through the story development and editing phases).

A insanely unique and interesting premise executed very well! I love Kate's character and the inner battle she has in regards to the Hunt. I also love how the differences between twins Izzy and Kate are concise and clear. The dialogue is realistic and girls are fun and likable! Great job!

Werewolf romance was not really my taste but this one is interesting. Not only did it mention about the most talked about alphas but it tackled the other positions such as those who protect the pack during travel. It's new knowledge for me so I very much like it. Plus, the hunt is surely exciting.

THE HUNT

THE HUNT

She seems don't mind the cut off and continued with a strange expression, “This is confidential-” “How can you say it is when you handed me a jade of information?!” She craned her neck, lost all the necessary excuses. She sigh after realizing I already frustrated. She ask with a bit of confussion, “How can the young lady realize my lies?” I sneered. “You really asking that? Really, how can you be a huntress?” She pondered about it, and it only cause my heart to shook with too much frustration. She said after, “Well, I'm not actually a huntress...”

The Lycan King's Hybrid Bitch Queen

The Lycan King's Hybrid Bitch Queen

Instinctively, my fingers rose to the healing wound, and I lowered my head in respect. “Your grace.” “Raise your head, girl.” Her voice chimed like bells as she let go of my wrist, and a single finger nudged my chin gently. “A queen should never bow her head.” I remained silent, raising my head stiffly. Hunt’s Mother was a new character. Potentially dangerous? My eyes wtached her dark gaze intently but still, I had no idea what to think of her. “Do you know why you’re here?” The sun was still high in the sky. But slowly, its warmth began to kiss my skin as I straightened my back calmly. “I suppose you didn’t summon me for nothing?”

OWNED BY THE TYRANT LYCAN KING

OWNED BY THE TYRANT LYCAN KING

Not a single one had ever crawled back from his clutches to tell the tale. Some folks swore he locked the women in underground cells and forced them to bear pups for his endless army. Others claimed they spent their short lives scrubbing floors and breaking their backs under the whip until they dropped dead from exhaustion. But the story that truly made my blood run cold was the one Mirabel had just repeated. The Hunt. They said he released the prisoners into the ancient woods surrounding his fortress and let his alphas chase them for sport. Once you were caught… you belonged to whoever dragged you down.

Frequently Asked Questions

I was browsing through some thriller recommendations last month when I stumbled upon 'The Hunt'—such a gripping read! The author is Andrew Fukuda, and honestly, his background as a former lawyer adds this razor-sharp precision to the pacing. The way he blends dystopian elements with survival horror feels fresh, especially how the protagonist’s instincts clash with the eerie world. Fukuda’s prose isn’t overly flowery, but it’s visceral enough to make you feel every heartbeat during chase scenes.

What’s wild is how he subverts vampire tropes without leaning into clichés. The book’s part of a trilogy, and I love how each installment escalates the stakes. If you’re into 'The Hunger Games' but crave something darker, Fukuda’s your guy. His knack for tension is downright addictive.
