She asked as she wobbled her head. "The only thing that is slick is the fact that none of you trusts me, including you Imelda." I heard Alpha Lena's voice from behind as her footsteps approached us. I and Imelda turned in sync as I gave her that scrutinizing look suspiciously. "Are you….are you actually spying on us?." Imelda asked as she glared at her mother. "I wouldn't exactly call it spying. I was looking for Xavier when I heard voices in this room, turns out I'm the topic of discussion." She answered in a tone of disgust.

We head to the bar and climb onto high stools. The bartender is just as Natasha promised—sexy, inked, and cocky as hell. A stud glints in his ear, and he grins wide when he sees her. “Delilah. Looking good as always.” I arch a brow at Natasha, who plays dumb. Delilah? “Thanks, hon,” she says, fluttering her lashes. “As it should be.” Then she gestures to me. “This is my friend, Evelyn. Evelyn, meet Damon—the walking, talking thirst trap I told you about.”

They were rooted to their places as if hypnotized by a greater force. At the entrance of the room, a werewolf appeared with an aura so powerful that everyone felt stunned. The werewolf was a woman who exuded true beauty and strength. She was Sarah Denali, Cedric's cousin. Sarah smiled at Cedric, then stepped forward. "Alpha King, I have heard your call. I am your Luna." Cedric was surprised, but he had to move quickly. He knew that this was his chance. He took a step forward, approaching Sarah with sparkling eyes. "Luna, you are the answer to my prayers. Thank you for coming."

Nico just scoffed, "Believe me, Xander, I'm pretty sure you can lie out of this one, plus Layla may be a Bronwyn but she's not a genius." My brows furrowed as he said that. She must be the Lord's daughter. I didn't even know he had a daughter. "I heard my name!" An unfamiliar voice sang out. All three of us turned our heads to the left to see who said it. A blonde vampire strut towards us, smiling as we all looked at her. Xander quickly sat up straighter as she approached. I leaned back against Nico out of nervousness, but couldn't help but look over her features.

“why don’t you save our time and yours by simple getting to the point” Logan’s chest rose pride filled at hearing his mate take charge his wolf Hunter also grunting. Delynn drew a breath, his wrists chained to the table restrain any motion his hands made “The Dawn of the Vampires is approaching, they have increased in numbers and have formed a huge army, You are the Moon-Born the only one who can save us the Eclipsebane saw it, she is the one who sensed your energy and sent me here.” There was silence in the room, the couple waiting for their prisoner to continue explaining himself, a storm of confusion was already brewing inside Audrey’s thought and she was on the verge of exploding because

She pointed to another page with names listed beside birth dates. "Xander's children all have different gifts. One controls shadows; his mother was a vampire. Another one can charm with their voice, which is Delia. She's a Siren-Lycan hybrid. Which means she can seduce both men and werewolves, including Lycans, and still pass as human." "Moons!" I whispered, recalling what Kyren had said about her wanting to sleep with Kael.

Deliana pursed her lips before giving a small nod. "Of course, since you were clearly a part of this. It seemed your last rendezvous with animal shifters wasn't a reminder enough." She said, looking at her sister’s scars. Ariella smirked. "No, but fear not, the males tend to find them very sexy." Deliana didn’t seem impressed, her gaze turning back to me once it was just the four of us in the room. She waved her hand and a shimmering veil-like cloak covered the entrance.

He was always there gawking quietly– in the dark, in broad daylight, in the rain, in the shadows, across the private garden, from above; second-floor balcony, during breakfast, when I served dinner. Those dark carnal eyes never left me. That was when I realized. He wanted me as much as I wanted him. Maybe he was fighting hard to keep his hands to himself after our last encounter. Too bad…he was already mated to my sister and they just concluded the ceremony a few hours ago. Delilah had been introduced to the Pack and Elders as the Luna of Thunderstorm Pack. There was no fucking way in hell I would be entangled with him. My words may be firm, but my body betrayed me.

I said, my voice firm but laced with a hint of defensiveness. "No! He needs to be taught a good lesson. He stormed into my home uninvited, he is a vampire, and vampires don't just go into people's homes without an invite" he declared, shaking his head disapprovingly. "A vampire! The last time I checked, Damian is a hybrid, not a vampire " Delilah butted in. As she spoke, my eyes shifted from Aiden and settled on her. I'm not surprised, she was quick to clarify that Damian isn't a vampire. Delilah is the vampire representative here in the order.

"You were probably hoping to be the queen of Annwn in some fashion, hm?" Delia's jaw trembled and she let out a soft sob. He was right. He had vouched for her to a general of the vampire queen, but only after she'd asked to be a part of the scheme. She had volunteered thinking Eden was a prince, and he had handed her to a general to present as a potential agent. "Annwn was never under that witch's domain," Eden said as Delia slumped in her bonds. "Enchanting the prince… crimes of treason…" Gavin gasped, "You should both be executed!"
