One evening, as they sat by the fireplace, Elena's gaze drifted into the past.
"Ivy—Ava, I'm glad you're here," Elena said, her voice tinged with melancholy.
Ivy's curiosity stirred.
"Elena, what's wrong?"

Ivy's heart went out to Elena.
