Joseph’s POV I have never been much for company. I spent most of my nights alone. As a vampire, having friends seemed pointless. The friends I did have died long ago, just like everyone else in my life. I was used to the loss, though it made wanting to get close to anyone unbearable. The longer I lived, the more loss I endured. I wish to not be burdened with that dreadful feeling ever again. Meeting Tessa certainly wasn’t on my agenda when I moved to the city. But as I walked the mildly crowded streets and passed by her, the scent of her blood drew me in instantly. There was something about her that made me want to lose control.

Kat was aware that the General had not lifted his eyes from her from the moment she appeared in the doorway and she knew she was blushing under the heated gaze of both powerful vampires, she wondered if this was how slave girls felt at the auctions… Luisette came around behind Kat and she felt his hands on her shoulders as he placed his chin into her neck and used it to brush her hair out of the way. His hands rubbed up and down her arms giving her goose bumps. She tensed as she felt Luisette’s lips connect with her neck right on her carotid artery and went to flinch away.

She smelt like vanilla ice cream with chocolate sauce and chocolate chips on top. This is officially my favourite scent. Adrian, my wolf, then stated something that really startled me. “Mate.” Josette Elizabeth Vanderbilt is my mate. I had no idea how to feel about this. Should I cry or laugh? I don’t understand. I am not even eighteen yet, so how did this happen? Then it clicked. Jo turned eighteen last week. That’s how this happened. Jo falling from the railing jolted me out of my daze. Without hesitation, I utilised my superspeed to reach her and caught her just before she was about to collide with the ground.

She saw him look away from her like he was giving it a thought and when he looked back at her, she heard him say, “Get dressed.” “Huh?” Josephine blurted before she realized it.

But instead the solemn face of Josh greeted her. "Get me some aconite! Quick!" He commanded as soon as his eyes fell on the suffering vampire. The sharpness of his voice gave strength to her weak knees and she ran out in an instant, not sure of where else she would find them and plucked out some still blooming flowers that lined the main entrance to the mansion.

Jessica smiled. “The teacher, Lestat?” Juno snorted in disbelief. “A human?” “I like him,” Jessica said. “You should claim him before that asshole Deacon tries his luck again,” Jovita encouraged. “Don’t encourage her. She should un-mate and mate with Wynn again,” Juno insisted. “Wynn is fated to Ami, so too late for that,” Jovita reminded Juno. “What?” Jessica exclaimed. “What do you care? You just said you like Lestat,” Jovita stated, confused.

she greeted back. The tall and tan guy stood before her with a thick posy of roses. "Jessi? Right?" The client held out his hand for her. "Enzo." He looked even more good-looking up-close. Stunning, light-colored eyes like Kel's. Actually, he looked much more attractive than Ian Somerhalder. "Nice to meet you." Jessi shook hands with him, her other hand now holding the curling iron. She put on a big smile while Kel kept her head down, obviously pretending to be busy with her phone.

Julia suddenly snapped at me. "Right". I sat beside her and put my wrists in her lips, not because Sabastien said so but because I felt like it. Immediately, her fangs came out and she started to suck deeply on my blood, her eyes still tightly shut and her veins showing on her face. The little guilt I felt immediately disappeared and all I felt was pure hatred for this girl and her species. As I watched her suck on my blood, my greatest wish was that it would choke her to death.

Edward mumbled back at her. "His name is Jasper and he is among the Elders of the Volturi. If I had known earlier, I would have revealed his plans to the Lord of the Vampires. I am so sorry, my Alpha." The woman said and burst into tears but Edward grabbed her shoulders. He couldn't watch her cry like this in his face, not when she was the one that saved him. "That's enough. You don't have to be sorry about anything." Edward said, assuring her.

,I want to chucklej as she kicks his family jewels but his vampires attack and it is brutal. "kill then all",Josh calls out. "your belong to my coven, Grey stands and advances on my mate, just give me a chance ",she sighs and backs into my arms. I hold her back to my front. "I belong to Lucas my mate and I would never give a vampire like you a chance. Your disgusting ",she holds onto my arms.
