Before I could even react, Zane shifted in a super sonic speed and lunged at Eric’s jugular vein. The blood which splashed was no longer red, but of root beer shade now. As I watched Zane in his wolf form, his jaws kept pressing hard on the vein, while Eric’s eyes bulged out of his face. Eric was wriggling as the remaining life inside him was fading. Zane had detected the corruption trying to take over Eric’s body once again and he had snapped. This time, the situation would have totally been blown out of proportion. I watched the abominable scene and it was so heart wrenching that I felt like puking.
