I immediately teleported to the back of one of them and put him to sleep then I kicked the one who was still holding Clementine's arm and put him to sleep as well. I turned around in front of us and immediately kicked the runner in our direction. I immediately put him to sleep and then turned my attention to the vampire above. I immediately flew up and put it to sleep as well. When I was weak, I fell down and swallowed when I saw some more wolf vampires rising. "Clementine hide!" I shouted but she didn't seem to hear anything because she was just looking at the rising wolf vampire. She turned to me and immediately ran towards my direction then hugged me.

I tore my eyes open and looked towards the door, my mouth dropping open in what seemed to be awe. He is dead drop gorgeous and has the most beautiful set of eyes. It reminded me of the ocean. "How can you fight the bloodlust?" He asked and that was when I noticed the maid from earlier in his hands, blood dripping from her neck with two bite marks. "You're a vampire," I said, my face filled with disbelief. "Of course I am, Kitten. A very handsome one at that," he winked at me, smiling. "Mate!" My wolf stirred within me, reacting to his presence and my eyes widened in horror.

Kat grinned facetiously, flashing a mouth full of fangs. General Batton groaned as he tensed up. He felt the rush of wind as Luisette passed him by in a blur of vampire speed and Kat suddenly found her throat in the grasp of the Vampire King as he squeezed it tight. His eyes locked on to hers and he came within an inch of her face and sneered, baring his long canine and pre-molar fangs at her.

Kate experienced a chilling shiver down her spine due to the teasing touch. Zoravec halted at her mid thigh and clawed his hand there, while at the same time leaned in to bite right under her right breast. Kate moaned with a half scream and gasp, which satisfied Zoravec of his work. He lifted his head with three golden slit pupils in his eyes in the place of one normal vampiric slit iris. However Kate was not afraid of him or questioned the change because the lust bond had already made her familiar with them.

Firstly, I didn't know why they had such strength, and secondly, why did they seem like vampires or werewolves? "Are you humans?" I mentioned, and Kidd looked at me. "He already knows," he said, glancing at Daniel, then suddenly leaping before me. "Because you've seen our true forms, sweetie, you need to die now," he smiled at me, revealing his long fangs that weakened my entire system. "This will be quick. Just close your eyes," and as if under a hypnotic spell, I closed my eyes tightly, waiting for him to take my life.

I didn’t want to make him sad. I was also left to think about myself. I needed to find a new mate. The nice thing about us vampires is that we could choose our own mates, if our given mates were not fitting or we got tired of waiting for them. We would have to do a blood bond by drinking each other's blood and then we were mated. The blood sharing would connect us and afterwards one wouldn't even be able to tell us apart from true mates. The only thing was that we could not have children with our self-chosen mates.
