Vengeance Awakens In A Dream Novels & Stories

~Vincent~ I woke up to the sound of laughter. For a moment, I lay still, staring at the unfamiliar ceiling, my mind still foggy from sleep. I had been dreaming again. The same kind of dream that had been haunting me for years. Darkness, Hands grabbing me and voices I could never forget. The feeling of being trapped with nowhere to run. I swallowed hard. “I thought changing my environment would at least ease the nightmares.” Apparently not. I groaned and pulled the blanket over my face. The laughter came again.

And the human part of me - the part that allowed his feelings to take preference instead of his fury - worried what it meant for Valerie once the rage took over. That anger was at its peak the next day when I woke up from the dream which turned into a nightmare for me. The woman I turned to face as we laid upon our blanket of grass atop the mountain - both of our chests rising and falling rapidly after a passionate tryst - smiled cynically and pressed a dagger bearing the witch’s symbol carved into its handle to my throat, waking me up with a start.

"Yes. We'll help you, pathetic little creature that you are. But not because I wish to help you. Because of what you'll do to repay me." The things I'll have you doing. Chest heaving, fire lit her eyes at his provocation. Enraged that he'd dare propose such a bargain. Dare make demands on her. Go ahead, be mad. That'll just make this vengeance all the sweeter. Disseus remembered his own rage. "What lengths are you willing to go to, to save your son. For your revenge?" He asked the question directly. Forcing her to answer the question just as bluntly.

She had no idea what was coming. As I drifted into sleep, my dreams were filled with visions of vengeance. Leah would pay for every lie, every deceit, and every ounce of pain she had caused me. I would reclaim my place, my honor, and my power. And I would do it with the cold, calculated precision of a wolf on the hunt.

The water cascaded down my skin, soothing my frazzled nerves, but my mind remained a jumble of worries. As I returned to my room, my eyelids grew heavy, and my body felt drained. I collapsed onto my bed, surrendering to exhaustion. Sleep claimed me instantly. But my rest was short-lived, as a vivid dream seized my subconscious. I found myself standing amidst a desolate landscape, watching in horror as Selene's pack, Venus, was attacked by Ryker, Selene's uncle. The dream was all too real – the sounds of snarling, the scent of blood, and the sight of destruction. I tried to run, but my legs were frozen in place. Ryker's eyes gleamed with malice as he ravaged Venus, leaving devastation in his

Charles in the dream begged her to return home no matter how their love had met ruinous consequences but she refused his demand while he started weeping bitterly and awoke from his dream. When he woke that morning, it was with a jolt. He sat on the edge of the bed in his pajamas, shivering, heart hammering in his chest, anger thundering in his heart, head pounding. The light was bright, too bright, after the dream. This time, the realization suddenly struck him that he might have to wait here till Vivian came home. He looked around the bedroom and raised complete hope to see her take up appearance in the room. He found that his dream was confused with his anticipation. He realized that dream

I stared at my hands, the same hands that were holding Mom when she took her last breath, leaving me all alone like Dad. I stood up from bed because after this dream sleep is the last thing I want. I don't know how many hours I've lasted, maybe two or three. I don’t know, and even though I am tired as heck, I can’t make myself sleep and have myself haunted by the same thing again and again. All I want now is to clear my mind. Maybe a long run and some air can help me do that. After all, today is my wedding and the day when I can finally start with my revenge. As I stepped outside, the cool morning breeze brushed against my face, providing temporary relief from the suffocating thoughts. The s

Warrick nods his head and walks over to Damien’s room to wake him up. I mind link Uncle. Divina: ‘Uncle?’ Alpha Zane: “Divina? What time is it?’ Divina: “I don’t know. Early?’ He sits up more alert now. Alpha Zane: ‘What’s wrong? You would not wake me if it wasn’t important.’ Divina: ‘I’m not sure, exactly. I had a dream of a man being tortured and now I am covered in burns and lashes. I can heal myself, but I thought you should see this first.’

All these years there was a lava burning in him to find her and break her the way she broke him. To become the monster she always wanted him to be. But he stopped himself all these years. He refused to see that woman's face again that's why he never tried to find her. Even though he knew he could easily found her but he never did try. He wanted nothing from her but now what. She stood in front of him presenting her to the beast to do the fuck he wants with her. The moment he saw her the lava that he had cool down in those years started burning again. He wanted nothing except to slam the ice on his vengeance by hurting her. By watching her in pain.

And the thought of him flinching because of anyone but me made my blood roar hot with fury. Sleep teased at the edges of my mind, but I didn’t dare let it take me. Not when the world was still filled with threats, both real and imagined. Not when his dreams made him twitch like he was caught in some invisible snare. I couldn’t save him from whatever plagued his head, but I could promise vengeance for the things that dared make him tremble.
