"Good. Cause you can't let her wake. She will be at high risk of bleeding out and who knows what else anyways. We need her knocked off her ass. I'll get everything I need to stitch and bandage, and some coagulants. I have a few things on hand here that might help with blood sugar too, incase she goes into shock. She looks poor fed." "She is. I fed her light most times, and I withheld food as punishment. She hasn't eaten to my knowledge, in about two days now." "Withholding food doesn't nurture a bond, it causes strategic obedience. You want legitimate obedience, not acting. What you've likely created is a great actor." "Perhaps, but she's different. She cares-"

TRIGGER WARNING [MENTIONS OF DEATH] —GIANNA— I'm sick. I know that. Whatever disease I've got I have no clue, but being sick in the head would certainly explain why I’m putting on my makeup while my shitty boyfriend's corpse lies on top of his mistress's dead body. The smell of blood filled my one-room apartment, their clothes scattered all over the bedroom, and my gun was neatly arranged in his hands, artfully staging the scene while I finished my makeup.

Beside him stood a quiet looking red haired boy with sharp cheekbones and piercing green eyes and full red lips. The last of the group was perhaps the most intimidating of all—a broad-shouldered guy with messy, dark brown hair and a chiseled jawline, his lips set in a near-permanent scowl. Their collective energy was magnetic, dangerous even, and they all looked at us as if they were sizing us up— “Those young men are known as the Vicious Boys.” Vincent’s voice interrupted my train of thoughts and I did not miss the warning in his voice. “You’d do well to stay away from them. They’ve earned their reputation.”

’ I asked curiously, not sure what he was supposed to be scared of when it was me who was losing my mind. ‘Are you kidding me? Everything is slipping out of your hands, and you don’t even notice it. Apart from Valeria, you haven’t paid any close attention to the business, and even what has been happening on the high seat. You are loosing allies and all you can think about is a woman who is fucking someone you should have shot between the eyes when you had the chance’ ‘Don’t you dare talk to me that way, Park, don’t you dare,’ I spat out, holding myself back from throwing the empty glass at him and watching it shatter on his face.

No, this was still and certain, like stepping off a battlefield with all limbs intact. She did not have to deal with his stupid face and voice. The bond thrummed faintly, like a distant drumbeat muffled by stone walls. She didn't think it was their bond actually since she didn't have a wolf. It could be her hunger. Callister's absence had not set any feeling in her, and it had spared her the intimacy of a man she could not stomach… at least, right now. The first time was a mistake and it was never going to happen again.

Marcus shoved him aside and, with trembling hands, snatched up the paper. The first line was written in bold strokes: "Application for Dissolution of Marriage. Applicants: Marcus Hale, Clara Wilder." Julia limped in behind him, trying to clutch his arm like before. "Marcus, my ankle hurts." Ruthlessly, he ripped his hand away. "Ah!" The motion sent Julia crashing to the ground for real this time, pain shooting up her twisted ankle. Her face contorted as she sucked in sharp breaths. Marcus gripped the divorce papers tighter, his face pale, and showed her no concern at all.

These odd occurrences seem to be getting worse, giving me reason to believe whatever is happening or has happened to Vanessa is only getting worse. “Are you okay? I have never heard of a vampire being ill before,” he stated. “Well, to be honest, I don’t know all of the details of it, but we may be bonded with Vanessa. These odd illnesses are how we knew she was in trouble, and are a result of that suspected bond,” I explained. “I’ve never heard of the bond causing illness. All three of you? Are you sure?” he asked incredulously. “Yes. Like I said, we really don’t know much about bonding ourselves. We only learned about it before we came here. Alpha, when we find Vanessa, we want her to come

He got to his feet and started off, but stopped and looked back at Dawn's headstone one last time before proceeding. "Until we see each other again, my dearest," he spoke, changing into his wolf form and taking flight. Driving to Alpha Samuel's pack, Alpha Joseph Black was in his car on the road. As he left, Alpha Joseph reflected on four and a half decades of occurrences. To begin, numerous changes have occurred; his partner Victoria, after enduring years of abuse and betrayal, finally departed as she could no longer tolerate the situation. Many pack members departed simultaneously, leaving Alpha Joseph without a mate or a Luna. He became bitter, which led Alpha Joseph to push his pack warr

Her short nails clawing his wrist like a vicious tigress. "She is a wild cat. Help me, fucker." The shorter one snarled near her ear. Tears cascading down as if someone had switch on the button of her misery. The fat one came down hastily and attempted to grab her lower limbs when she kicked his jaw and the man stumbled back few steps and land straight on his butt.

I felt my chest constrict, but then the haze around her shifted, and I didn't feel love-struck anymore. "Is that supposed to mean something to me?" "Just say you accept." "Why?" "It will break our bond, and we can move on." "What if I don't want to break our bond?" "Then you work your ass off to prove to Victoria you are worth every second she gives you." I see the beautiful blonde friend of Victoria's come around from behind her. She loops her arm in mine as Victoria just stands there staring at us. "Walk with me," she says as we turn away from Victoria.
