she yelled after me. I walked into the kitchen to see Blake standing in front of the sink, his hands soapy up to his forearms as he dipped them back into the sink. He had on a tight white tee that showed off his rippling back muscles as he moved around the kitchen. My tongue darted out to wet my lips and I gulped at the sight. I stalked over to him, making sure to be quiet so he wouldn't notice and grabbed his ass, making him jerk in fright.

Only, when she threw it open, in came three figures—two of which I recognized while one I didn't know. Victor's ocean blue eyes accessed the situation presented to him and didn't take long to put two and two together. He grimaced at the meat cleaver I had tightly grasped in my fist as he neared me, "Dea, I'm going to take that from you, okay?" The sound of his voice soothed me in a way I couldn't explain. The fight in my body melted away like hot wax which allowed him to pry the cleaver from my fingers.

" I told him that you don't get to act like the victim here and try to escape. I spat as I coughed violently, "You assaulted me, and God knows how many you killed on your way up here! I don't care if you are the heir apparent of this shithole you and your type constructed of this country. You are not the victim here! I am!!!" Aric froze in place and seemed at a loss for what to say. Now that my poison was gone, I had nothing but the door behind me to keep me from collapsing. As I slumped to the floor, breathing heavily, I barely registered Aric's arms grabbing me before the room began to blur in and out.

BLADE 2. He forced his tongue into my mouth and pinned my two hands roughly on the bed. He doesn't allow me move. I wiggled my body but he ended up hitting my boobs with his palm. I perked up because that meant that It was time. "So now we can execute our plan." I said without thinking twice. "So we can get my mother back?" Blake asked with to much excitement. My smile dropped and I could only sigh because it seemed like he was dead set on getting his mother.

“You wouldn’t ask if you had any other choice.” “No,” she whispered. “But James needs his father. Evelyn needs her stepfather. And Blake, he didn’t do what they’re accusing him of. Morrison set him up, and I can’t let a dead man’s revenge win.” Her voice cracked on the word revenge. I turned from the window and leaned against the wall, pressing the heel of my hand to my forehead. Blake Matthew. The man whose name once felt like poison on my tongue. He’d been my enemy once. The man who’d helped expose my crimes, cost me my reputation, and, eventually, my marriage.

This was my first experience with a rogue, and they were known to be vicious. "Hey," he holds up his placating gesture. "I'm not going to hurt you." Victoria notices my wariness and eyes him suspiciously. "Do you know him?" She asks, and I shake my head. "We just met, actually," he stretches out his hand. "I'm Blake." Hesitantly, she shakes his hand. "Vic." "And you are?" He turns his attention to me, his hand still outstretched. Slowly, I take his hand in mine but pull away quickly. "Olivia." I mumble.

Viktor asked. "Officer Blake, sir." Viktor nodded slowly. Then he raised his phone again. He made a call, spoke for exactly five seconds. Yes, I need you to look into an Officer Blake, badge number forty-seven. Find out everything. Yes, everything, and ended the call. Officer Blake's face went completely white.

He places his hand on his shoulder and smiles unwilling to let him go. "Grandpa, I really need your help." Blake hangs his head, his eyes threatening to perk with tears. "What's going on Blake?" Blake's grandpa frowns, his voice going from a cheerful tone to a more melancholic tone. "Grandpa, those archives you told me to look over, you were right. You were right about all of them. There's a vampire by the name of Damian who is seeking revenge on our pack. But that's not the only thing I fear." He sits with his grandfather inside at the table.
