I casted my mind in Volorie’s and was able to dig up some interesting tidbits about her and Daryl’s Past. Apparently, Valorie was born in London just like Daryl was. Her dad was Daryl’s uncle and by a unlikely coincidence, her birth mother was an akarian refugee. Unfortunately, that’s where her similarities with her cousin ended Volorie was an pianist prodigy since age eight. This got her noticed by a high society academy run by a prestigious organization. Over the years, she spent less and less time communicating with Daryl. Growing up, they were extremely close. They would visit their grandmother in the summer and they would go to Haitian festivals, celebrating their heritage as family.

My husband was a computer whiz, and he brought me along to work in Valen. Rent in Valen was steep, so we ended up in one of those chaotic, mixed-bag apartment buildings. The place was packed with edgy young girls in trendy Valenese outfits, their lips and tongues covered in piercings.
