Garvin froze slightly but relaxed, thinking it was the right time to begin psyching Cooper concerning Curtis. “Because there is a boy called Curtis who looks exactly like you. Would you like to meet him?” Cooper’s eyes widened, and he smiled mischievously, “Exactly like me? I would like to meet him, but I doubt anyone looks as good as you and me,” he bragged, and Garvin forced a smile whiles ruffling his hair, “We shall make time to see Curtis, Champ. Let’s go home.” The next day, at the office, Garvin’s mood was terrible after dropping Cooper off at school. He began speaking from the elevator with an icy tone and without a glance at Serena.

Curtis shape shifted back to his human form and lay panting heavily on the ground. He was bundled to the dungeon as Alpha Liam pawed away. "Let me speak to the Alpha…" he continued to plead weakly, blood covered his body from all the times he crashed heavily to the ground.

After speaking, Dustin looked at Curtis. His eyes were intense and confident, as if he already understood everything. Curtis was taken aback, then quickly composed himself. He was filled with uncontrollable joy. “Thank you for your trust! On behalf of the whole Swansong Group, I swear to serve you with my life. We will do everything to follow your orders!” Curtis’s voice trembled in excitement.

“Yes, my alpha?” The beta immediately appeared, since Curtis was a hybrid, half vampire and werewolf. It permitted him to shape shift into particular birds he wished to. He flew down towards the balcony and transformed himself from the bird to his normal self. Curtis landed on the cold marble floor and knelt in front of his master.

Dante beamed and asked the man to unstrap Curtis’s hands from the plaster. Curtis grinned in a bit pain as he rolled his wrists. “So, as I told you we both know each other…and you know I hate to hear ‘No’, Curtis!” Dante folded his two arms in his front while he gazed at Curtis who seemed limping already as the man had no other choice but working for him.

Wolfsbane lost an arm in an unfortunate accident during a Wyvern Peak rescue mission four years ago. He was then forced to retire and return to his family home. Wyvern Peak awarded him with the highest honor and bereavement allowance but he decided to donate all the money. He instead made a living by working in construction and stopped intervening in Wyvern Peak’s affairs. “Faster, Curtis. We’re in a rush!” the foreman shouted from a distance.
