It was upsetting to Ignis that Curtis remained in human form. “My land, little boy. It was mine before Alistair stole it from me," Curtis snarled, his eyes flashing. Soren cocked his head. “My father was not a thief, old man. You just didn’t deserve to rule back then, and you don’t now." Soren glanced around the chaos. “Or maybe you were meant to rule mutts after all." Curtis shifted, his wolf massive, almost the same size as Soren, but Ignis was slightly bigger. In wolf form, he moved at a terrifying speed. Their collision sent shockwaves across the ground as their powers clashed heavily.

Curtis waved his hand with the cigarette in between his fingers, "He didn't tell you who I am?" The man grinned. It was Menoetius. "Oh, he did. He told me you are the little wolf that used to follow our Lord around asking for hugs." Menoetius said with his huge grin on. Curtis: "..." "So, why did you resign then?" Menoetius had the superpower to keep his annoying grin on when people are obviously mad at him. "So, you KNOW, you are talking to your prince right now?" Curtis said, stressing on the word "prince".

I whisper back. Curtis eyes them. “These guys. These guys are going to help us against Xavier black? Are you insane?” He grits “Trust me, Curtis. They have resources we need and have agreed to help us if they can meet Lucius. We need this.” I search his face. He places a hand to his forehead, rubbing it. “Fuck. Lu’s really not going to like this.” “I don’t care, Curt. This pack comes first.” I was getting agitated.

But until they had Sapphire out of whatever nightmare she’d gotten herself into, he had to tread carefully. Unlike most of the Donovans, who were tall and blond, Curtis was a short, stocky guy with shoulder-length brown hair and a goatee. He had small, kinda beady brown eyes, and a nose that looked too long for his face. At first glance, he seemed harmless enough, until you got to know what a ruthless little bastard he was. “You’ve got a lot of nerve coming here,” Curtis said. “I lost one of my best men because of you, and had to fire another.” Razl snorted. “If they were your best, Donovan, then you need to do some new recruiting.”

Ryull, ever quick, tackled them to the ground, their boisterous enthusiasm abruptly silenced. "I was joking! Okay, okay! You're just only brothers-in-law!" he said, grinning. Curtis approached Alruna, taking her hand and raising it to his lips. He then turned her to face his packs. "This is my mate, Alruna." A collective gasp rippled through the assembled warriors. Comments like "A powerful couple," and "A match made in heaven," were whispered amongst them. The omega was a skilled doctor, the beta a fearsome warrior; a truly formidable pair. The women from their village showered Alruna with praise, commenting on Curtis’s incredible luck.

A message went out: "Eaglet has landed" * * * Curtis felt his stomach muscles contract as he watched the intruders come. It didn't take a genius to guess what they were after, and to position his forces accordingly. He had two squads, one to his left and one to his right, with Hax on the high ground. It was plenty of fire power for the situation. That's the way it seemed, anyway, until the officer raised his Legion issue glasses, saw the oncoming green blobs, and took another look. What was it about the way the figures moved? The way they seemed to flow across the ground?

Tricia shrieked,she tried to shift, her bones beginning to pop, but she was too slow and weak. I had turned on her, my vision a pulsing red. I didn’t see a sister. I saw a parasite. I turned swiftly towards Tricia who was stuck in shock staring at her mother struggling to breathe on spilt blood. I felt no pity. I immediately lunged at Tricia, swiping my claws across her chest, opening her from collarbone to hip, before plunging my claws into her chest. She tried to fight me off but I was too endowed with rage to allow her win this time.

My younger brother.” Maya said out aloud, reading off the question from Sheila's eyes. She bit her lip as she watched Sheila sigh disappointedly, as she heard the murmurs begin in the crowd again. Curtis opened his mouth to defend himself and his integrity but Derek beat him to it. “Curtis is to be trusted.” Derek stated simply, before going ahead to call out all the warriors that had been sent to his uncle’s pack.

He waves his hand as if swatting a fly “Bancroft is hardly a loss, that fool was bound to get himself killed any day now. He was no use to us anyway” “I would like to offer you my services. I am from the Silver Crest pack and I have decided to abandon them. I am at your disposal if you wish to take revenge on them” I kneel in front of him showing that I am offering myself up to him. “I am pleased by your gesture Natasha. Jasper thank you for your time, you may very well leave now” he says and Jasper nods and exits the room in the flash of an eye. I look at Lachlan who is now eyeing me more intensely.
