Wait 1000 Years Novels & Stories

At school, I had a nickname. They called me "Mister Wait-Your-Turn." I waited for the sneakers my brother had grown tired of, the backpack my sister thought was ugly, and the phones my parents had already cracked the screens of. Even when it came to taking a shower, I had to wait until everyone else was done. A week ago, Mom had promised me, "On the day of your college entrance exam, you won't have to wait your turn for the shower." So when I finally stumbled into the bathroom, drenched in sweat and smelling awful, I thought my turn had finally come. I was halfway through working up a lather when someone started pounding on the door. "Come out. Let your brother go in." My eyes stung,

"That is a long time from now." Solenne smiled. "The watcher is patient. It has waited centuries. It can wait a little longer." --- The story was not over. The story was just beginning. End of Chapter 136

The time limit is three years. Annie was very angry, she continued to poke the screen: "Tell me, why don’t you announce me sooner?” [I’m so sorry, that’s just a system error, so I forgot about that…] [Hm… to be honest, there is one more announcement, do you want to hear?]- the system continued. It seemed not to care about her anger. “Of course!”-she patiently said. This time, she received the announcement very quickly. [Actually... her time in each world will change in a decreasing direction.]

someone from the crowd asked, eyes glued to the unfolding scenes. "Well, one day here is equivalent to one year there. So, if someone lives there for 60 years, it would only be two months here," I answered, clarifying the timeline. "However, if someone remains stubborn, we might extend the duration, making one day here equal to 100 years there. This allows them to experience multiple lifetimes, teaching them to release their anger and negative emotions. Once they've learned this, they can return to Eden to live happily ever after."

Selene murmured, standing close beside Luna as the coalition made their final preparations, "it's been waiting a hundred years to get out. I don't like the idea of finding out exactly how patient a hundred years of waiting makes something." "None of us do," Torin said grimly, checking his own weapons with the careful, deliberate focus of a wolf who had survived considerably more battles than he cared to count. "But patience cuts both ways. We've spent three days building something this kingdom hasn't managed in a century. I intend to find out if it was worth the wait."

"I pay attention to patterns. So are you?" Kyle looks at me and I look at him. How do you explain to a five-year-old? "Because people need time to figure things out," I finally say. "How much time?" "I don't know." "A day? A week? A month? A year?" "Maybe longer than that." Madison speaks up softly. "A year is forever." "It's not forever," Ethan corrects automatically. "It's three hundred and sixty-five days. Or three hundred and sixty-six in a leap year."

Sweat drips down my face and I can feel wetness from various parts of my body. My breath is heavy and I want to stop but I don't. I keep going. I imagine myself catching up to a train of complete and utter zen. The train is five minutes away and all I have to do is catch up to it. And if I can't then I'll just land close by. If I don't catch it today then I'll catch it tomorrow, I'm getting closer each day.

Cally was about to go to her seat, but she accidentally met the eyes of a blue-eyed youth who was also looking at her. "Hey, Calvin, he stares at you, he stares at you for more than 5 seconds!" the man named Calvin just rolled his eyes lazily, what's wrong with being stared at for more than 5 seconds? nothing even happens if they stare at each other for more than 5 seconds, that's right. "Wow, looks like that girl will become your fan girl!" Leo chuckled across from Calvin

"What can come out of cultivating for ten years, that's way too short!" "It's really not," said Wilbur. "One year out here is a thousand years in my mirror dimension." "What?" Augheimer was shocked. "Are you serious, Wilbur?"
