“I—” “Please,” the waiter pleaded, lowering his voice. “He tipped me generously and asked me to bring you over. If I don’t at least try, I’ll feel like I didn’t do my job properly. Please, I have a family to feed and my wife just gave birth to a set of twins a few weeks ago.” I sighed, glancing toward the direction the waiter had gestured. My eyes landed on a man sitting at a private table near the floor-to-ceiling windows.

Josh asked. “Yes I am.” The waiter said. “When you didn't see anyone, why didn't you report back to me?” Josh asked. “Well, I thought she was in the restroom, so I just left the food here and left.” The waiter said. “Are you sure you are speaking nothing but the truth?” Josh asked. “Yes. That's all I know. I wouldn't dare lie to you.” “You can leave.” Josh said. The waiter quickly stood up and ran for her dear life.

The waiter Edema appeared unexpectedly with a parcel that she carried. Smiling, the waiter made his way toward me and said "Good afternoon, ma'am." Edema the waiter delivered me a package that a good-looking man had requested to leave in my room. I raised an eyebrow, my anger spiking. "Who is the person?" I asked immediately, my voice firm. Edema appeared surprised by my tone but responded with "I don't know, ma'am." He told me to take this gift to you. He said it was a gift."

The waiter swallowed and nodded his head before hastily leave his table to get the coffee that he wants. Every workers in the resthouse knows him except for those who are newly hired and based on the waiter's reaction earlier Vincent was certain that he was just a newbie and wasn't aware of who he really is but he was thankful that even without knowing who he is, the waiter didn't complain and just do what he wants him to do. While waiting for the waiter to come back he laid his back on the couch and closed his eyes for a moment. He needs to get his shit together because he still has a lot of important things to do and staying drunk is not one of those things.
