Chapter 14 Mondrian’s POV My head buzzed slightly as I stretched in my bed my hands gripping the edge of the sheets as I shifted and twisted taking in the scent of the fresh morning dew. I didn’t have to check the alarm clock to know the time since it was already ingrained into my system. Barely forty-five minute past five, the same time for five hundred years I knew better than to try to stop the habit that’d been inbuilt after I’d taken up the position of alpha after dads death.

5 Days Later Too bright she thinks to herself as she opens her eyes. She blinks until her eyes adjust to the light and the scene in the room. A crumpled up figure is spotted in the chair opposite the bed and she tries to speak but feels too late the obstruction in her mouth. Her heart starts beating and it sets off the heart monitor, waking up the sleeping figure, who proceeds to jump up. “Gianna!” He exclaims and she finds herself recognizing the voice of Giovanni Russo.

Four Years Later Kira's POV “Kira, please don’t look!” My mother’s desperate voice echoed in my head like a haunting memory. It wasn’t real, just a nightmare I couldn’t escape. The loud beeping of the alarm jolted me awake, snapping me back to reality. Groaning, I reached for the wall clock. 5:00 a.m. "Shit!” I cursed, leaping out of my bed. “Not again!”

Their loyalty and concern were palpable, and I respected that deeply. May's POV Waking up in the morning finds me warm, too warm. I look around me and find that I am wrapped up in the warm embrace of two werewolves. I look into the eyes of the one I'm facing as she smiles in her sleep. She looks so peaceful. I wonder what she is dreaming of? Just as I start to wonder what she's dreaming of, the man behind me whispers in my ear, "She's dreaming of a five-way." I slowly turn myself so I'm facing him.
