Waking Up In 5d Novels & Stories

It was time to leave. Elwood hurried forward. He was slightly teary eyed as he carefully lifted me on the couch. “Don’t worry, Morgan. I’ve contacted the best orthopedician in the world. You’ll definitely recover. If you can’t, I’ll become your legs and bring you all over the world.” In the past, I would have thought that he felt sorry for me, but time had shown that it was all just crocodile tears. I was an idiot. That was why he managed to deceive me for five years.

Chapter: 16 ****** TALON: The darkness of the room was still thick when I was jolted awake. A soft, melodic chime pierced through my dreams, followed by a soothing voice that filled the space. “Good morning, Talon,” Zora said, her voice smooth and warm, like a gentle breeze on a spring day. “It is now five o'clock in the morning. Time to get out of bed.” Who wakes up at five in the morning?!

Ashley’s POV The sunlight filtering through the sheer linen curtains of my bedroom was too bright. It stabbed at my eyes, forcing me to drag myself out of the heavy, drug-like sleep that usually followed a night of high-adrenaline peaks. I stared at the ceiling, a pristine, coffered expanse of white and waited for the realization to dissolve. I waited for the memory of Julian’s icy blue eyes and his predatory job offer to fade into the fog of a champagne-induced nightmare.

"Finally, you're awake." "What do you mean?" I asked, realizing I was filled with energy. "You've been asleep for five days," he broke the news, and I couldn't believe that everything I had experienced was false.

~2 days later- Jack's C-Section~ Jack's POV: BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! Are you fuckin kidding me? Who wakes up at 5am? I growl in annoyance and roll over and attempt to go back to sleep. My sexy self needs all the beauty re- "What the hell!!" I shriek out as my warm blanket is ripped away and the lights switched on.

Chapter 55: Echoes of Existence I wake up. My consciousness returns like scattered puzzle pieces slowly assembling themselves. First sensation—soft sheets beneath my fingertips. Then sound—a rhythmic beeping nearby. Finally sight, as my eyelids flutter open to blinding fluorescent light. Hospital room. Standard issue. The kind I've seen in a thousand realities. A thousand realities. The memory crashes into me with such force that I gasp aloud, my body jackknifing upward. The convergence. The altar. Truth hovering above me. My blood on the stone. The collapse.

*** I almost yelled when an alarm clock let out a shrill sound disturbing my sleep. Can you just shut the fuck up! I groaned as I blindly tried to switch it off but I couldn't find it. What the heck! I finally succeeded in switching it off after almost falling off the bed. 5am! I shrieked as I saw the time displayed on the alarm clock. I have never set my alarm to 5am before in my life. Reality hit me as I noticed the unfamiliar room. Oh my God! I scrambled off the bed and ran into the bathroom almost tripping on my dress, I can't believe I slept in this dress.

★。＼｜／。★ VANESSA DAVIS ★。／｜＼。★ The next morning, I woke up before my alarm—before the sun even rose over Manhattan’s jagged skyline. The city hadn’t stretched its arms yet, but I was wide awake, eyes open to the soft blue tint of morning crawling through the window. This isn’t the normal time I’d wake up. But I’d been on colton’s farm for months, it changed my sleeping schedule. Who gets up at five am, anyways?

Amber's P.O.V I'm awoken by the sound of someone banging loudly against the locked door. I stir myself awake before darting my attention over to the area as confusion and fear seeps back into me at once. "Five minutes!" A deep voice yells from the other side. Five minutes? Five minutes until what? I quickly sit myself up against the mattress before wiping the sleep out of my eyes and standing to my feet. I look around the lifeless room as I long for some type of window or display to the outside world.

Nex’s POV “Mommy, wake up.” A small voice reached my ears as I opened my eyes, feeling more tired than I should be feeling refreshed, as I rolled onto my back. “Another… five minutes…” I uttered out. “Any more ‘five minutes’ and we’ll be late,” came Helix’s retort. I snapped my eyes open at that and sat up. “Is it that time already?! How many times have you tried to wake me?” “Just once.”
