A flicker of fear crept over me. Scar was heavily built and almost as tall as Wraith; his eyes were blue, and his hair was a shock of white. He too was covered in scars, but the most gruesome was on his face. It seemed like someone had carved him open from the forehead down, only to restitch him back up. The Ironside Pack were on their feet now, cheering. I could finally understand why Rex thought of ‘Scar’ as a worthy opponent. He definitely looked the part. “Last calls for bets!” a man called out, and Rex motioned him over.

I sensed anxiety dancing in her eyes. “And you, Miss Muriel. Do you also love listening?” Scarlett’s twin sister, Skylar faced me. They were identical but with a noticeable difference. While Scarlett has large eyes, Skylar has close-set, small, light brown eyes that peered into everyone else’s eyes. She has the same hairstyle and color as Scarlett. Both were wearing similar dresses. Only if you look into their eyes will you know who is who. I looked at all the eyes on me and a lump formed in my throat. Why did she notice me?

Then the woman that Reece had shown me one other time steps through the open door holding her child's hand while her husband was with her. I stare at her beauty, her golden brown eyes reminding me of Reece. I guess thats where he got them from. I look behind Harley to see a middle aged man walk in looking so comfortable in a stainless white shirt with the sleeves rolled up to his arm. His hair was rich and full in black curls with the tip tinted like gold. There was a faint scar on his jaw giving him a badass look for a middle aged man like him. "Is that .. ?". Harley nodded. "Yeah. Darrel Carter and Aurora Young. Really classy".

“They're bleeding…” He smiled at me and said softly “it's fine, it happens sometimes. Besides, they'll heal” He was wrong. My hands traced along the deep cuts on his shoulder, his body tensed under my touch. I looked up from the wounds and met Scar's eyes directly in front of me. His pupils were dilated, his lips parted slightly and he looked absolutely breathtaking. “Your eyes” there were no longer fully green, they had a glint of gold in them and I found myself mesmerized by their color.

I heard him respond to the order before getting close to me. “Aaaahhhhhhj!!!” I scream my lungs out, as the first thing I see is the face of their boss. The man has a long scar stretching from where his left eye is supposed to be, across his nose, to his right jaw. The mark is so ghastly that anyone would have nightmares looking at him. Even his left eye is missing. What a horrific sight! “Hahahahhahahah!!!” “Hahahahhaha!!!”

I snarled provocatively. I drove my free claws into his abdomen, moving them with intensity, tearing him apart completely. Furthermore, I stopped when his body went limp, looked up, still smiling predatorily, and ran the sharp claws from his belly to his shoulders, opening a deep cut! “Accursed cursed cub,” moaned Walker with dull, lifeless eyes. The red of his irises had disappeared, replaced by a glazed, opaque black.

He took a deep breath and when he opened his eyes, they were dark ebony. Shit, I thought. That’s his wolf’s eyes. We are in deep trouble now. I looked to my side to see Scarlyt with her eyes closed and a perplexed look on her face. I assumed she was deep in thought about something, maybe concealing her aura like we had worked on earlier that day, but then I saw her inhale deeply. Wait… Why is she doing the same thing as him. “Scar…. Scar!” I whisper shouted. She still ignored me.

From the corner of my eyes I can see Howl standing behind of a lady as he uttered it. " Oh! He’s here? " I turn my gaze towards the voice. I feel like the time past by slowly as she turns her body towards our direction. My world fell in slow motion. Her eyes met Mr. Walker’s before she shifted her gaze to me. She had hazel eyes just like me. I could see the wrinkles in the corners of her eyes.

“Because anyone who assists us in finding what we’re looking for will receive a sizable reward.” I pretended to be careless by crossing my arms. “And what are you searching for? Please, tell me.” “Two wolves,” Scarface stated, grinning broadly. “A woman and a man. Youthful. Seen in the vicinity of these areas.” My stomach sank, but I kept a neutral expression. “No one has seen me.” Scarface stepped closer as his smile weakened. “Be thoughtful before responding. This isn’t a game.” I said, my voice firm despite my heart beating quickly, “I said I haven’t seen anyone.”
