Shifting is a nasty business, not to forget the pain. Being around family helps ease the pain just a little. Class 3 will be a choice going forward. Class 3 is for those wanting to continue becoming pack warriors or part of the Elite teams. Class four, which I belong to, is for those that want to specialize either in being Elite or Alpha/Luna Guards, and your training is determined based on your skill set levels. You can call Elite Warriors the Special Ops or Tactical team; only a few details of their training are; only Gamma Theo and his 2nd will know since they oversee those training sessions. Lastly, we have the Alpha/Luna Guards, which is self-explanatory but doesn't help. They specializ

The specific quality of his attention that made you feel that what you had said was not moving through him on its way to somewhere else but arriving and staying. I stood up and went to the window. The territory was dark below. The torches along the outer wall made small yellow circles on the ground. Beyond the wall the forest was invisible, just a deeper darkness where the lights ended. Somewhere in that darkness, six days from now, an alliance of five packs was going to test whether Blood Moon's borders held. Austin had said, "they do not understand what they are fighting." He was right. They thought they were fighting a forbidden bond. An administrative inconvenience. An Alpha who had let

"It's not just us warriors," said Wang Ge, the warrior who was nicknamed the Asura Monk because of his strength he was ranked second after Swordsman Zou Fan. After Wang Ge said so, hundreds of swordsmen started to come out of their hiding places. chyou Chen started to grin, as the sensation of his heartbeat starting to race was getting stronger. "Is this going to be the end for me," thought Chyou Chen who started to feel a tremor in his legs.

Maybe an Alpha from a traveling pack. “You look thirsty”, I purred, leaning over the table so the lace of my bodice did the talking. He looked up and his eyes were a piercing, icy, blue unusual for our kind. Most wolves had Amber or gold. These eyes were cold enough to freeze my blood, but the way he trailed them down my body was scorching hot. “I am”, he said, his voice in a low gravelly rumble. “But not for what’s in the glass.” “Good” I whispered, sliding into the booth beside him. I didn’t wait. “Because the bar was closing its tab but I’m just getting started”

He thought for a second, smiled at his hunch and renamed her contact. Kitsune is who she is! A dodgy red demon with a fan of tails. A werewolf who creates illusions indistinguishable from reality. From that moment on, he called it that only - Kitsune, Kit. Both the kitten and the Japanese fox shifter were all about that name.

he asked and was about to remove my mask when I immediately stopped him. “Because mommy got a wound on her face, and it might spook you to see,” I answered and carried him in my arms with my sight not getting off his eyes. “No, I won’t,” he pouted and shook his tiny head. “I’m used to wounds and brutal cuts, auntie Nevaeh often brings me with her to treat warriors on the field.” “Warriors?” I started walking towards the river with the kid in my arms. Keith nodded and raised both of his arms. “Uhuh. The guys that shift into wolves and fight bad people. Kata! Kata!” He answered and threw multiple punches and kicks, causing me to almost lose grasp of him and nearly fall down the rocky ground.

We had interrogated Gunner, his Beta and his son numerous times but since there never seemed to be a reason for him to invade, and there was never any direct evidence, we were not able to hold a trial. Within seconds of tying my boots I felt a tug and relaxed myself, allowing Angel to pull me through her teleport. I was instantly standing in a field with ten other Shadows around, vampires and wolves were the usual fighters. Tonight I noticed we also had Chance, a shape shifting tiger who was one of the most badass warriors you could ever ask for … I certainly never wanted to be on his bad side. Chance was over 50 years old and unmated. I didn’t know his age exactly, I just knew he hadn’t fou

She seemed pretty fascinated by the training ground, her eyes locked on the warriors as they lunged and rolled. “Anyone who wants to train can train,” I told her. “But to become a warrior, you have to pass the warrior tests.” “Including women?” “Yes. As a matter of fact, we have quite a few female warriors. Women are just as good as men when it comes to being a warrior.” “Do all packs have warriors?” I shook my head. “Not all, but most. Some packs are neutral. They don’t engage in any sort of fighting. They just sort of keep to themselves.”

Now I know where. Warrior’s are usually the offspring of high ranking creatures. The firstborn always follow their parents, and the rest become warriors to feel useful. Especially for women, if they don’t find their mate when they’re of age, they’re considered disgraceful. “It was her choice,” he answers. I can see he’s telling the truth. I don’t think she has a mate, so becoming a warrior is her only option if she doesn’t want to be looked down upon as a failure.
