The lone warrior fell down to the ground as the confident warrior kicked his back. "You think ignoring me made you cooler? Your just a low rank warrior, I mean the weakest warrior in history! Shouts, the striking of metal on metal, and the screech of werecats surrounded me. It was like I had been inexplicably teleported to the sounds of the fighting that I had heard. I didn’t know how I had ended up there. I looked around for someone familiar, Killian or Oliver or anyone. Fighting the werecats was a legion of Crimson Fang soldiers, dressed in our usual battle garb. The red banner of our pack was still held aloft above the chaos, though it was tattered and torn. A warrior, locked in combat with a werecat, nearly knocked into me, but before they could make contact, I blinked, and found myself at the other side of the battle. The viewpoint switch nearly made me nauseous.

"I’ve traveled the world. Been to weird, creepy places, but I always felt safe… And now you’re telling me there are werewolves all over the place?" She turned to face me again. "This is too much." Her voice cracked. "No, no, no…" She groaned and covered her face. "Now I don’t even wanna step outside my apartment!" Despite the chaos in my chest, I almost laughed. She was all over the place emotionally. Then she suddenly snapped back. "Wait! You said you're a soldier. Was that even true?" Here we go. "Kinda. I’m a warrior in my pack." "What does that mean?"
