However, that could not be said the same about the latter part of their journey. They were immediately surrounded by the men of Hollis, with Commander Kristoff leading him. I narrowed my gaze, trying to make sense of the situation. "Shoo!" I shouted, waving my sword at the cat. "Go away!" The cat meowed, then turned and scampered away, disappearing into the darkness. I closed the door to my quarters, leaning back against it as I let out a long sigh. It had been a long day, full of battles and surprises. As I slumped onto the couch, a smile played at the corners of my mouth. The triumph of reclaiming my throne, coupled with the unexpected passion of my encounter with Otsana, had left me feeling both exhausted and exhilarated.
