Following his words, the four knights behind him too held their swords, their eyes sharp and on high alert. They gazed around the hall, counting the number of people who seemed to be ready to attack them.

Hiyojin empowered the warriors who let fear engulfed them. Many warriors were motivated while others are shaking on their ground. A quick second pass and the ground started to calmed. The warriors strengthen their stand. Suddenly, a tentacles pierced most of the warriors body. This attacked was a surprise one, for no one really noticed it except the three high ranked warriors. "Evade it!" Galatrina shouted through her lungs. The remaining group of warriors avoided the second attack. But it's not over. Suddenly, a hordes of arrow but much bigger rained down. This was another surprise attack from the enemy. Even Galatrina didn't expect this one.

~~~ ~Callum's POV~ I lay in my bed, and heavy pants fell from my lips. The work of training the warriors for battle has made me an exhausted man. The warriors we had available were trained harder than every other warrior we've had in the history of the Moon Crescent pack. —there, we have to pay for losing good men in battle. I continued laying on the bed, about to drift off into a beautiful sleep w, when the door to my bedroom cracked open, and the woman who had made herself known to me, and a sigh left my lips.

He was still wondering how a she-wolf got a werecat as a mate. 'How's that possible? ' Few minutes later Alexander came down the staircase with a medium sized box in his hands. He was about to leave when Calhoun suddenly asked a question. "Werecats Cannot be mated to werewolves. If you marked her, how did you do it? " The question caught Alexander off guard. All heads turn towards Alexander including Xavier who was also surprised at the outcome. Alexander glared at the alpha before waving his hand. "A story for later, I should go to her," he bypassed the question and left almost immediately.

He bundled up my three sleeping cats in one go and flung open the window, ready to toss them out. Quick as lightning, I stepped in front of him, blocking his move. "Dominic, what are you doing? I raised them!" He exploded on the spot. "Haven't you heard the notice? The apocalypse starts in twenty-four hours! You expect these blind, crippled cats to protect you?" I planted myself firmly in front of the window, refusing to budge. When brute force didn't work, he tried persuasion. "Scarlett, listen to me. Kill these useless cats, and we'd have six slots. Then we could raise more beasts. We'd be invincible."

As Jade watched, she couldn’t help but compare Mei to a hunting tiger—agile, quiet, and precise. “You’re really good,” Jade said in admiration right after Mei had made her tenth kill.

Vee dropped one of her swords. Killian couldn’t wait any longer. He let go of the rope and launched himself towards the ground. As he fell, he shifted, the power rippled up his spine. He landed hard on all four and took off at a sprint just as Vee fell to her knees. The Werecat landed a hard blow to Vee’s head and she collapsed. The cat had its jaws just inches from Vee’s throat when Killian tackled the beast and they went rolling sideways. They were maw to maw as the warriors started raining down above them. The Shifters started to fall back as the warriors began cutting them down in huge swatches.

a churlish Warrior named Campbell asks. The other Warriors glance sideways at him, the looks on their faces matching mine. We do not question a direct order from our alpha. Beast immediately comes to the forefront but Marinah responds before I do. She's dressed in her Warrior gear that allows for a quick shift to Beast. With her heightened human strength, she doesn't bother. She picks Campbell up by his throat, tossing him over the hellhounds and into the cage.
