Warriors roared, stomping their boots until the very floor beneath me vibrated. The elder smiled. He reached out and picked up the crown. Varek didn't crown me. The elder placed it on my head. It wasn't a gaudy, jeweled Southern tiara. It was a band of blackened silver, forged into the shape of a crescent, with two gleaming wolf fangs worked into the sides. The moment the cool metal touched my brow, every single torch in the great hall flared. The orange flames snapped, turning instantly into a blinding, shimmering silver.

It would become Black Sparrow Hawk’s ~~ Coda ~~ “I fought hard,” he professed before his captors. “But your guns were well aimed. The bullets flew like birds in the air . . . my warriors fell around me.” His discourse shifted to admonishment. “You know the cause of our making war. It is known to all white men. They ought to be ashamed of it.” He went on to tell of a campaign of greed and broken trust, murder, and of those who had perpetuated it. He summed them up aptly: “The white men do not scalp the head. But they do worse—they poison the heart.” With the sun setting on him, the old warrior said his goodbyes.

The music was getting louder and so was the crowd. The door slammed open at the front of the speakeasy, and in walked six warriors in dark leather — their golden wolf sigils flashing on each shoulder. With them was the largest female warrior in Shadowclaw. Broad-shouldered, taller than most men, jet-black hair pulled into a vicious braid. She moved like a beast barely contained by flesh. And she was watching Nova. The man beside her peeled away, eyes on Nova's hair like it was a prize. He crossed the room with that slow, cocky walk Jax knew too well.

She fumed internally at his ignorance before tuning her ears to listen to what he had to say. “If I remember correctly, I also have the right to a champion.” He declared. Her father laughed at his tenacity to hold onto his life. He had turned from the strong Alpha he once was, renowned for his battles in the pack wars, to a mere rabbit clinging onto life in the wild. She didn’t understand the weakening within the Alpha’s, they had never seemed so powerless. Powerful wolves were out there, they just needed to be found. A change in power was needed. “Coward,” She spat at him, her hair falling into her eyes as she resisted the urge to pounce at him.

(Cara's POV) In my dream, I kneeled before a white-haired man, surrounded by a few people that I was sure I had never seen before, but strangely, they felt familiar. "Catalyn of the Red Blood Pack, you have proven yourself once more, and finally, we believe you have all the qualities to become one of our warriors, the first ever female to become a warrior," he said, his voice filled with pride. I rose to my feet, a wide smile on my face. The people applauded; they all had the same look of pride in their eyes.

Gamma Beowulf queued me in. " My fellow wolves. I stand before you today as an alpha but also as the child whose parents were betrayed and killed in this pack. I know how you have all fought for justice. I feel your loyalty, your anguish, your turmoil and your fear. I know how the Newmoons had tormented you, maltreated most of you, and my heart bleeds. I cannot erase what has happened in the past or take away your pain, especially your pain of losing your loved ones in the struggle because I too still bear my pain. But I can promise you that I will do everything within my capacity to restore the Luna Eclipse to its glory and avenge the wrongs done to us by the New moons." I said, and they ho

Stormshadow growled. Birdpaw watched on in amazement as they maneuvered around the dog. The ThunderClan cats were actually working alongside RiverClan cats, keeping the dog confused and frustrated. Their claws landed pretty nasty looking marks along it's muzzle and legs. It tried snapping it's jaws around Acorntail, who squirmed out of the way and retaliated by leaving a deep wound on it's muzzle. The combined attack of every warrior was more than enough to scare the loud, obnoxious dog away.

I Continue, and he smiles “Yes, I do. Welcome all.” He says and smiles “The Warriors are Jacob, Jason, Andre, Christopher, Thomas, Michael, Jack, Oliver, Owen, and Eli,” I say and I feel the surprise from my warrior. They didn’t expect me to know their names. “I have cleared a wing on the second floor to the right. It is completely free, and your warriors have my permission to keep everyone away from there.” Carter tells us. “Thank you, Alpha,” I say and smile.

He's looking at an open window. Thunderhoof, Whitman wolf is running in the eastern border. He also has feelings for Sequoia and Wisdom. He and Whitman fell for her before they discovered the gold triquetra she wears. He and Whitman had planned on not pursuing her when he heard she was pregnant but after seeking her mark they decided Wisdom and Sequoia would be theirs at any cost. Thunderhoof shifts after running into neutral territory. Whitman slides on a pair of black jeans and a navy blue shirt. He’s looking at almost three hundred men waiting for his orders.

Lardon Vexley POV "My wolf only speaks the absolute truth to this council," I say, keeping my chest high as I stand across from the high-born warriors. "How is it possible my ears never tracked the data that Lardon was legally bound to Warlord Calder?" Zoraya Flint gasps, her eyes wide as she looks at Aziel Crowbane. "Lardon is not the type of warrior to let his inner beast lose control unless an enemy deliberately pushes his pride to the absolute limit," Aziel Crowbane whispers, his eyes narrowing as he shifts his heavy boots closer to my side of the oak table.
