Valeria’s POV The world blurred back into focus around me. I was standing on solid rock, my swords in my hands, but the rest of the warriors had disappeared from my side, along with the trees of the forest. Despite finding myself in a completely different location, I could still hear the sounds of battle raging nearby. I turned towards the source of the sound, trying to determine what was happening. As I did, a fully-shifted werecat flew at me, seemingly out of nowhere. Quickly, I raised my swords and slashed at their chest. As soon as the blades made contact, the werecat vanished.

I admit while rubbing my bump smoothing my shirt that rode up. “Congratulations on your pups, it’s not brave to do what’s right. I should have done more long ago and fought for the women of our pack, I’m stronger than most of our warriors. Alpha Lucas treats us like slaves and makes anyone who disagrees with him rogue without a second thought,” Kitty speaks with a sad nearly lost expression when I grab her hand and motioning for her to sit across from me.
