Hunters: The Prequel

Hunters: The Prequel

As expected of the planet that was ruled by the Usurper, Shadow assembled many warships in under thirty minutes. Several strong warriors occupied each ship, and each ship was flanked on each side by Ascenders. The faces of the warriors were as rigid as rocks and their auras were as sturdy as the highest mountains. Although they were subjects of the greatest sky in this universe, their faces did not hold the pride that was birthed from such status. Hubris was far from them; it was as far as the east is from the west. Their eyes were steely and cold, and though they were not absolute like their king, their countenance was that of the sharpest blades. Looking at the neatly arranged warships, Sh

I hope that’s not the end end. So many left off pieces of the story all his friends on the other world, all the other gods story lines, he’s only used his blood born weapons and armour twice. Hasn’t even made it out of dreamscape yet. Still have everything in true verse going on while he “asleep”

War of freedom.. War is inevitable

War of freedom.. War is inevitable

It was safe and its mission almost done. *****& It was in the moon of the eagle, in the third year of the reign of His splendid majesty, King Katthike, of the house of Buthwal-Renandi, when in the fog of the night, the moon was veiled, six by six ships, the pennants with the snake on the masts of the immortal empire, went on a journey. The sails like dark wings, the oars nimble like flapping fins, the ships glided secretly over the black waters of the border sea. Sixty by sixty men in their bellies, only with one fierce desire in their hearts: To conquer for their king.

A Crown Cut with Salt

A Crown Cut with Salt

"Always blind." We made a slow, patient circle. Across the black tongue of water, the two ships worried at each other like dogs with an inherited grudge. It wasn't a hammering broadside brawl; it was tight and cruel and cheap. The corsair wanted Nightjar's stern, board, and be done. Nightjar wanted to make the other man regret daytime. "Captain," I said, when a softer light winked near the cay's lee. "Boat on the water. No oars. Towed and cut."

Ravens of Eternity

Ravens of Eternity

“Scan those ships immediately!” Data filled the main screen in front of the command chair, along with a live feed of the port beacon a dozen kilometers away. There, aggressive insectoid ships flashed into Hegemony space. They watched with awe as hundreds of fighters, dozens of frigates, destroyers, and cruisers appeared on their sensors. That fearful awe turned to absolute dread as a battleship also appeared in their midst. “Sir!” said the tech, “Ship technology confirmed - it’s the Drogar Empire!”

By the title itself, it was already something that would hook anyone immediately. And after reading a few chapters, indeed it was great. I really love reborn books/novels and I am not disappointed one bit at all! Love the Mc by the way.

It's great to read a book that the first scene is in outer space. Eva is calm, strong and you describe the background well enough to make me imagine it figuratively. Nothing to complain here. It's just perfect :)

The Dragon Lord's Seastead

The Dragon Lord's Seastead

"Notify everyone. Expand the ranch. I'll tame more defensive sea beasts." Captain White nodded and left. I stood at the entrance of my shelter and looked out at the calm sea. The undercurrents had already begun to move. Over the next few days, I took people out to search for defensive creatures that could be tamed. In a reef area, I found ironclad crabs. Their shells were as hard as metal. They could reinforce hulls and gnaw through the bottoms of enemy ships. I tamed more than a hundred and had them attach to the undersides of ships around Shallow Bay's perimeter.

HIS REJECTED GODDESS

HIS REJECTED GODDESS

It was a brutal, atonal sound that vibrated the fillings in my teeth. From the labyrinth of the docks, three massive warships detached. They were galleons, identical to the ones we had sunk ten years ago, but heavier, plated with thick, riveted iron along their hulls. Their gun ports snapped open in perfect, mechanical unison. Dozens of black cannons slid out, tracking our approach. "Captain," the helmsman called out, his voice perfectly steady despite the artillery pointing at his chest. "Orders?" Torin looked at the massive cannons. He had swallowed their fire once. He would not do it again.

WILD DESIRES TAMELESS HEART

WILD DESIRES TAMELESS HEART

The morning after Inquisitor Vane’s ultimatum, the Blackwater River looked like a graveyard of iron. Three massive Southern warships sat anchored in the center of the flow, their steam vents huffing rhythmic clouds of grey smoke into the pristine mountain air. They were "teeth" of a different kind—not bone and sinew, but coal and steel. Rhea stood on the battlements, her fingers tracing the rough stone of the manor. Beside her, Elias was a statue of suppressed fury. The grey-gold veins on his neck pulsed in time with the thrumming of the ships' engines.

Hopeless Warriors

Hopeless Warriors

It was the first sense of seriousness he'd displayed all evening. We all waited quietly until the Queen finally decided to speak up. "The—the Western Isles have sided with...them." "With them," Natalie asked as Chris read the letter over Lissa's shoulder, "Surely you don't mean—" "That's exactly what she means," Chris blurted. "According to Tatiana, Dhampir in the Western Isles are now being enlisted to join their regiment at 12 years of age and those who cannot fight are being given positions within the kingdom without pay. Just like those íonachta fucks said."

Mates: Regrets and Redemption

Mates: Regrets and Redemption

I fisted my hand and jabbed my elbow back with a gloating face in celebration when he took down another fighter jet. All the werelion warships near the islands were already destroyed with little chance of any survivals. The werelions had their ships forming three circular rings. It was the last ring of ships that were further in the ocean that were left to be taken out. They released surface-to-air missiles to target our fighter jets. We were winning. Although it would have been nice to be home instead of being a mute backseater. My anxiety level was too high.

The Alpha's Warrior

The Alpha's Warrior

“I have fought in the first war, Alpha…I have experience.” “This is different…” “I still have more experience than all three of you combined,” Asher was about to argue, but Logan placed a hand on his shoulder and shook his head. “How many allies do we have?” Joseph demanded. “WillowCreek, BlueHounds, BlueMoon…” Noah said. “BlackWater…” Catalina responded, her eyes red with fury and tears as she finally turned to face us. She looked so enraged, all that pain she must have felt now transformed into anger.
