“She’s Angel.” The room stilled. Angel. The word seemed to hover in the air, sinking into every heart. It felt right. More than right—it was perfect. She was their miracle, their savior in the darkest storm. Alisia’s lips trembled as she whispered it aloud. “Angel…” Her hand pressed over her chest. “Yes. She’s our Angel.” Xavier’s eyes softened, the sharp edges of his soul melting away. He placed his hand over Alisia’s, his voice steady and proud. “Angel Knight.” His gaze swept across the room. “Our little bundle of joy.”

"Well little man, what should we name you? Your mom was an Angel. Hmmm male angels? Michael? No. Hmmm. Gabriel? You like that huh? She could have sworn he smiled. Now a middle name. How about Thomas? After your great grandpa? He was a great man." Angel filled out the paperwork. She handled her sisters as well. She was on auto pilot. If she stopped for one second, she was afraid she'd fall apart. But she couldn't. Her niece and nephews needed her while their father fell apart. They let Ash take him home the next day. He was perfectly healthy and had no complications. The old ladies had gotten supplies for Ash and met her at Angel and Rider's home. She didn't want to uproot the kids. Rider had

SAKI Responded. “Let us meet where the stars gather, and where the sun has failed. The divine glass has been empty for too long.” Jared continued. “Yes my Lord.” SAKI responded. One could tell that as SAKI responded, he was bowing his head wherever he was. The tiger in Jared was beginning to find expression. He was the Leader of the Seven eyed dragon Mafia clan, drugs, death, was nothing new to them. But they had always operated under. That was how Jared got his nickname, SHADOW. He was never seen, never known.

"I wanna know about the angels, about this war," she said, trying to present her question without being rude. "I wanna know exactly what's going on." "Very well," Jaron sighed. They adapted the name 'angel' because they considered themselves the messengers of God. They believe in 'survival of the fittest,' but they're the ones who decide just who lives and who dies. We retaliated against them…after suffering a tremendous loss. We've been fighting them ever since, trying to keep other planets safe, planets that t

“A Watcher. Well I'll be damned.” “Aren't you already?-” Samael stifled me with his hand. “Your levity is admirable, maggot. But this is more serious than I imagined.” “How serious can it be if the culprit is a watchmaker?” I asked, voice muffled. “Wrong, Watson. Watchers. Formidable angels that corrupted mankind. The ones that brought the Flood.” He near-forced me into the chair. “Sit here. Don't move,” he said. For a moment, I could swear he looked worried.
