He was sickened by his own behavior. It was his friend’s smiling face Grayson saw the next morning, when he opened his bleary eyes and reached for his smartwatch by habit. Only to find it wasn’t on the charging dock where he left it. He glared at the chef who held a breakfast tray in front of him. “Where’s my watch Leo?” he demanded. “Well good morning to you too, buddy. You’re taking the weekend off. Doctor’s orders. I made you something special. It’ll help replenish you.”

He signaled for Aunt Mai as she handed him two boxes. Alec and Lilian eyes were filled with anticipation as their father opened the box. Inside the two boxes were smart watches Alphonse help put it on each child. A purple smart watch for Lilian and a green smart watch for Alec. He gave them a short tutorial on the watches. It can call him, their grandparents, Aunt Mai, Butler Manuel, and their bodyguards. Other than a call feature it can message, take voice recording, monitor their vital signs, and it secrectly had a tracking device.

They are to stand guard and to bar my brother and Caleb from entering my office without my approval. I was putting the phone down just as Karen came into my room. She placed the documents on top of my table while I took the box John gave me earlier and opened it. My eyes widened when I saw what was inside the box, and could not help from grinning. They were matching smartwatches. One is obviously for me because the strap is longer, while the other two are smaller versions of my watch in pink, fit for a girl, and color gray for a boy.

Somia took one and gave the case to Semirat, two of them put it in their eyes and using their phone to look at it maybe it fit them. “Good!” The guy said as he was pressing the screen of the smart wristwatch in his hand and watching Semirat and Somia inside it like he was watching movie. “It’s from this smart watch I will be watching you and able to know if anything want to happen, because I won’t want people to know that I am your bodyguard. So you are cool now” Somia and Semirat looked at him. “Oh! So you will be watching us as along as the eye contact is in our eye” Somia said.

I’m on my way to give Theo his birthday present and I’m nervous. I’m worried he might not like it or, worse, not accept it. I knock on his office door and enter once he says come in. I can’t believe he’s working even on his birthday. “What do you want?” he asks, not lifting his eyes away from the papers in front of him. “Happy birthday,” I say, placing the wristwatch in front of him. I got him a Chronograph black leather wristwatch. I hope he likes it.

I say, hopefully tugging on the oversized heater I have on. The older looks at the sturdy jacket with a calculating gaze, but after finding no holes, he nods. He digs through the pack and hands me two t-shirts. I turn and change quickly, handing him the worker's jacket. "Do you have the time," I ask eagerly, wanting to know how soon we can leave. The younger lifts his wrist, and I gasp, a watch! 7:43 am "How have you not lost this," I ask in shock. He grins. "It has a stretchable band. So when I shift unexpectedly, it doesn't break. A gift from my father," he answers with a sad smile.

The substance was slick but smooth enough to glide through. I lay against Leo’s back. With his slow movements and the thick scent surrounding us, my wrist suddenly beeped. I pressed the watch tightly, as if that would silence it. “Nothing… just this watch misbehaving.” “You sure it’s the watch,” he teased, “or do you find my back and movements sexy?” I rolled my eyes, though my body stiffened. “Are you doing this on purpose?”

That seductive appearance had been with him for a long time, and Gemma had thought it was just his preference or personal style. Today was no different; he wore a long black shirt, and he had a limited-edition watch on his wrist that covered part of his forearm. Gemma remembered what Clement had once said, and she raised her chin, looking at the watch. "Your watch... is it a limited edition?" she asked. Jethro glanced down at the watch, which he had bought a long time ago and was his favorite, so he wore it more often than others. "I just bought it casually," Jethro replied, unaware that this watch was indeed a limited edition and that he didn't care.

Now he was convinced that the dream had something to do with the part of his life he had forgotten. Suddenly his eyes fell on the watch that Joseph had given him. He kept looking at it for a few moments. It could have worked for him. The watch was capable of capturing every single moment spent with it, and all that was stored in it could be viewed on a special computer in the control room of Joseph's planet.

I grip the chain, not letting him remove it, but all he does is smile. “Relax, Ella. I’m only replacing it, so you don’t have two chains around your neck.” He holds up a watch and presses the button on the side, and all the guards grab at their ears, “Sorry guys, I had to show her how to use it, and it needed to be tested anyway.” He chuckles but Owen and Malik continue to glare at him. I chuckle myself, and then remove the alarm and hand it to him before he puts the watch onto my wrist and buckles it. I hold my arm up, so I can admire the pretty-looking piece of metal, and it really does look lovely.
