Two Deaths

Alphonse Monroe could hear his heartbeat as a gun was pointed at him. He raised both of his arms in surrender. Behind him his brother laid unconscious and wounded while his brother's girlfriend tried to put pressure on the wound.

He stared at the girl in front of him. "Please put the gun down I know we can talk about it." He started to reason with her. "We can talk about it! Do you think i would believe that because of her my career is over my life is over" the woman stated as she tightened her hold on the gun.

He looked at the woman and felt a chill down his spine. This was the woman only moments ago was delivering a speech on the importance of kindness and helping orphaned children. But now as he stared at her the kind eyes were now filled with hatred and cold fury.

"Alphonse I don't know why you and your brother keep on protecting her. Why is she so special!? Do you know because of her your children were sold and my best friend died" she explained

"Children?? What children? you must be out of your mind" Alphonse stated observing the famous starlet in front of him. 

Hearing Alphonse obliviousness the startlet couldn't help but laugh as she nodded to the bodyguard beside her. The bodyguard pulled out a folder and throwed it infront of him. He knelt down and picked it up. 

When he opened it and looked at the content his hands started to shake. Inside was a detailed investigation on a event 13 years ago.

"Is this...this...true!?" He asked the starlet "of course it's true. You were so fooled both of you and your brother were fooled. Because of her your two children were sold, grew up in the province forced to work. They were born so unlucky" The starlet explained.

"My best friend died at the age of 18 giving birth to twins. She was cast out of her house and died a week after giving birth. She had loved your brother and she was foolish but I know she would never seduce him like that. But that night she was given drugs and she was scheme by that woman. All because she admired your brother her life was cut short. She died with only her nanny and her children. Did you know that she had dreams she wanted to be a chef. Claire Steven what did Yui Sato do to you? What did she do to you for you to ruin her life?" The starlet stared at the woman kneeling behind Alphonse.

"Now I will end you for her, for me, for the twins and all the people you hurt." The starlet aimed at the woman and pulled the trigger.

Alphonse Monroe didn't know if it was instinct but he turned around and protected Claire Steven. All of the sudden he felt a piercing pain before darkness filled his vision.

Elizabeth Torres wanted to cry as she read the last few chapter of her current favorite novel. Her heart felt like it was also breaking into pieces.

She was currently reading 'The Film's Emperor Love' a stereotypical cliche romance novel. 

The story revolved around the love story of Robert Monroe a rich film emperor from a prestigious family and Claire Steven a B-list actress who came from a simple background. The book narrates how they fight for there love against all odds. 

But she wasn't focused on the main protagonist but on the Second Male Lead Alphonse Monroe. He was the kind older brother of the Male Lead who also loved the Female Lead. It was so touching reading about his unconditional and selfless love for her. But her heart broke for him because no matter what he does she will never choose him.

"Why can't Alphonse get a break" she couldn't help comment. She was currently on her way home from school. She slowly scrolling thru her phone when she heard a loud honk of a truck. 

As she looked up from her phone she couldn't help stopping in her tracks as she saw a wild truck rampaging thru the road straight towards her.

"aahhhh"

"Waah... waah... waah..."

It all happened in a blink of an eye. The rampaging truck hit her and her body flew a meter away. 

Elizabeth felt pain all over her. It was excruciating but she couldn't scream or shout. People surrounded her and she heard them speak but she couldn't understand them. 

Slowly her vision became hazy and she only felt pain.

This was the last thing she remembered before she was engulfed by darkness.
