Water Breathing Demon Fall Novels & Stories

This was where the demon would attempt its final ascension, seizing complete control over Alex's body and soul. Without wasting a moment, Mia and Heartman began the ancient chants, their voices harmonizing with an ethereal resonance that filled the chamber. The words reverberated through the air, a powerful incantation designed to weaken the demon's grip and dismantle the altar. But just as the chants reached a crescendo, the ground beneath them began to tremble. The stone floor cracked open, and Alex emerged, flanked by his loyal followers who had been twisted and corrupted by the demon's influence. Their eyes glowed with a sinister crimson light, and the air crackled with malevolent energy

Byron cackled, his voice dripping with twisted delight. "Think you can run from it? These desires come from inside you, from your own body, your own heart. The Demonic Art reaches beyond death itself. There is no escaping it." He let out a cold, satisfied sneer. Suddenly, a massive cloud of black mist, threaded through with a sickly pink haze, exploded outward and blanketed the entire sky above the Umbral Peak Sect.

Nate's soothing voice broke in. I still refused to open my eyes. "Verena look at me." He demanded. I shook my head in refusal. "Look. at. me." He repeated, his tone was softer. I slowly opened my eyes and turned to look at him. "It's okay to be scared Verena." Nate comforted. I gulped, my whole body was trembling. The terror of falling down was making it impossible for me to breathe. I looked down again and a fresh wave of panic hit me, I was eighteen stories above the ground.

I begin to gasp for air. “What’s wrong, Damian? Can’t seem to breathe? Think of this as a vortex that can simply take your breath away! Just like that girl of yours seems to do. Soon you will run out of air and choke on your last breath! Your lungs have to be burning by now! Not only will Raiden be happy that you’re dead but I get a prize as well! That girl will be mine! I hope she can breathe once my dick is inside her!” He taunts. My fists clench as something takes a hold of me. My breathing evens out as I start to shift into my demon form. I need water!” There’d be a moment when they would look away from him and when they’d look back Blood would be kneeled at their side, sipping on the glass in Young’s place. What little strength they had was used to scoot back but they’d back into a wall, finding themselves suddenly trapped in a cell with the Demon still sipping on his glass of ice cold lemonade that seemed to never empty. The heat never left them, somehow worse than when they were actually in the sun.

But it was the alpha mark on his left cheek bone, a crimson-tinted signil that confirmed what he was. A demon alpha. Ziva instantly retreated into me and I gasped. He had a struggling human wrapped around his fist. The human's face contorted in terror, eyes bulging, and mouth agape in a terrific scream, but the demon alpha didn't budge. Didn't even bat an eyelash when the human threw a spittle on his face. And then as if the roles were suddenly reversed, his mouth descended upon the human’s.

Before anyone could react, the demons' eyes locked onto Esteria, their concern deepening. Without hesitation, El-Kharis stepped in front of her, pulling her protectively behind him. His eyes narrowed, and his tone was sharp as he demanded, "What brings you here?" The lead water demon, a figure with shimmering, almost translucent skin and eyes that looked like whirlpools, bowed respectfully before speaking. "My Lord, the Water Council has summoned you... and your mate," he said, his gaze flickering briefly to Esteria. The way he said "mate" made Esteria's cheeks flush, though she tried to hide it behind El-Kharis's broad frame.
