Bailey’s POV From the shadows above, I watched her flee. Her sobs echoed down the corridor, raw and unrestrained, each note a symphony of ruin. I was just about to leave when another message from her popped up. "Lyra, don't overthink. Soren and I are just friends. I didn't have anyone else to help me, so I turned to him.
