Brayden spoke really fast before reaching out and hugging me. “Thank you.” I managed to finally get out. “Get out of here! Fast!” Brayden said. His eyes were full of worry. “Do you need one?” Waylon asked. I was so confused to what he meant. “Left side, please.” Brayden stood up straight as Waylon let go of my hand and punched him in the face, knocking him out cold. He landed hard but Waylon took my hand and we bolted out the door. I made the mistake of looking over to see a literal army of wolves spilling out of the building. Waylon was much faster than I was but as I opened my strides, I was able to keep up for the most part. Waylon found the path easily enough.

We increased our pace as the horde gave us a hot pursuit. Wayne, already has the van ready to move when we got there. I got into the vehicle first. Joe was about to come in when an infected launched itself at him. He stumbled to the ground but was fast enough to get up. I left the door open so that it would be easy for him to come in.

I needed them to help keep her safe. “Let me know when you’re ready to head out.” He stoops down to pick up his battered leather duffle bag, opens the door to the empty room next to Aggie’s, and closes it with a quiet click. The five men in front of me stand in silence and listen as one thud is followed by another, he has kicked his boots off just inside the door as he always does. Then the springs of the mattress groan and the bed creaks as he falls onto it. “Is he..” Wayne looks at me with a healthy amount of fear in his eyes. I doubt any of this lot is old enough to remember Abe in his prime. The old dog is the wrong side of sixty but could still level these pups without breaking a sweat.

I teleport us, and we're standing next to the door with me still over Wyatt's shoulder. "Uh, can we help you?" Ryder asks, amused. Wyatt's face turns red as he puts me down. Haha, we have a red lycan, everybody. "We're looking for Wayne. We talked to Eva, and she said he was close to Dr. Neelson and Adrian. Can we look at the images from the cameras?" I ask. Lucas walks over, and types a few things into the computer, and all the images pop up. I reach out and touch his forehead with my finger, causing him to look at me with confusion.
