“Why are you helping the wolves?” My eyes widen in shock; this asshole can speak. I really thought they were zombies. Do zombies talk? I don’t think so. I thought they only made gurgling sounds. He gives me a look of disgust, like how could I not know who he is. “Your people call us fangs, but we are vampires, duh,” he replies smartly.

“They all look like they're sleeping. Just stay quiet.” “So what? We walk right past them?” I rolled my eyes, my sarcasm went unnoticed. “Yep, what's the worst that can happen?” There were better questions to ask but I feel like sassing him about his word choice wouldn't change the plan. We were going to be walking right next to sleeping zombies, praying that neither of us steps on a twig or bumps into one that we didn't see. “We could die!” I obnoxiously whispered

"Hardly! I've already contacted the Captain through our mental bond—he's sending men over as we speak." I grinned at the beta's efficiency. "You're truly an excellent beta; I hope your Alpha recognizes your worth," I complimented him. He beamed, clearly pleased by my words. Suddenly, my nose wrinkled, detecting the unmistakable stench of death. Where was it emanating from? The beta noticed too, his expression turning grim. "Day walkers," he whispered urgently. We tracked the foul odor to the old man's house, where we discovered a couple of Day Walking Vampires siphoning the lifeblood from the unfortunate elder.

Darren chipped. “And whatever she’s using is making them freakishly strong,” Daniel added. “So basically the Walking Dead?” “The Walking Dead.” As we stepped out of Darren's house, the cool evening air enveloped us, carrying the sweet scent of blooming flowers and the distant hum of crickets. But the tranquility was short-lived, shattered by the weight of our mission. Nathan unfolded the paper, his eyes scanning the address as we walked towards our car. "It's an abandoned warehouse on the outskirts of town," he said, his voice low and urgent. "Let's gear up and get moving."

Now from what I have heard, and I have never been in contact with any one of them, they are far more powerful than any Vampire and are just as difficult to overpower too.
