Novel & Cerita Webbed Dog Paws

I watched as the red wolf eventually formed fins on his back and tail, as excess skin formed behind his elbows and in front of his stifles, giving his legs more of a flippered look. "No, shit!" A man with foggy blue eyes and short brown hair said in unison with the woman that I assumed to be my brother's mate. "So THAT'S a Gonakadet?!?" A toned woman with brown eyes and foggy blue hair that matched the eyes of the other guy asked in shock. They had to be related. Siblings? "More like a goldfish in a bowl, but that's besides the point!" Air bubbles left the wolf's mouth as he growled at Cerulean's words.

While my plan had officially been set in motion, tomorrow was the day I turned myself in. I could feel Asher's hand wrap around my submerged ankle, tugging it until I slid across the tub and into his arms. His sly smirk made me roll my eyes, though something else had grabbed my attention. The wound I had left on his neck was fully healed, revealing a beautiful mark. Cobalt blue in color, a crescent shaped moon with two small stars stood out on his skin. The mark was unique, as it was for all mated wolves. The color was not flat, but seemed to shimmer and deepen, reminding me of the night sky.

Four white paws padded softly along the water’s edge, and the young werewolf was being extremely careful not to actually get his feet wet. Being a wolf was new to him, but he was determined not to let that show. He bent to lap gently from the water just as the full moon crested over the waterfall. The jet black fur on his head and back gleamed brightly as the moon rose high enough that her light slipped over the falls to illuminate the pool of water and the whole werewolf family at the bottom of it. The young wolf looked up at the moon, blinking his heterochromatic eyes, first the blue one and then the brown before he howled his greeting to the goddess.

Almost half an hour later, I heard the water moving. With a big smile, I rushed in that direction, only to be stopped surprisingly when I spotted a pup in the water. It was small brown and fragile. Its fur was dampened with the water. It was whining in a low voice, lifting his small paw again and again. It looked no less than a doggy. But the fur confirmed that it was a werewolf. I couldn't stop myself from pitying its condition. Walking into the water, I grabbed it up gently, trying to see its paw,

This is why when the twins came into Erin’s bedroom to say they thought Dane was outside, I quickly went out and told them to stay inside where it was safe. I could see the paw prints of a werewolf in the snow. How can I tell it’s not some large breed dog? Because a werewolf is much larger than a regular wolf, our pawprints are bigger and leave a deeper impression as our wolf has more muscle mass. Based on the side of his prints, his wolf isn’t of a ranked bloodline. If I had to guess, his parents were mid-rank at best, but most likely, at least one was Omega.
