“You are way too pale for a human. Don’t you sleep?” I frown as I glance away from his stare. “Aren’t you going to fix yourself? After all, I hit you hard twice,” I say, changing the topic. He laughs as he smacks my back. “You’re a funny girl! We, the bloodlines of the Great Alphas, have a faster healing factor than any other wolf. You haven’t heard of the Great Alpha?” I shrug. His smile slightly falters. “Then, the decade war between humans and the wolves?”

I could see their hesitation and how they struggled to figure me out. “We do not feel your scent on her.” One of the men yelled from the crowd. “I cannot feel her wolf either.” Another voice added. “Forgive me, Alpha but I smell an alien scent…” Another voice shouted. “Well, that’s because she is human. A very weak human.” A familiar voice shouted from the crowd. It was Monica and she had an evil grin all over her face.

What does mate mean? He senses my tension and confusion, but he doesn’t clear my confusion immediately. “Amelia, have you ever heard about werewolves?” I shake my head. Of course not. Werewolves sound like the types of characters in legends or bedtime stories. And during my childhood, I don’t have such a thing as bedtime stories, all I have is bedtime tears. “It’s OK. Human beings don’t know much about us. I understand.” His words make my jaw drop. Human beings? Us?

"No! I wanna be a human!" I shouted. "What's so great about being a human? Do they have power? Do they have strength? If you embrace me,together we can conquer the whole world! We can rule over them!Not every half-breeds get the chance. They have to live like a pest their whole life as you were living like one the whole time! They have to wait for the full moon only to set their wolves free! Isn't it pathetic enough! Do you wanna go back to your pathetic life?"

And he quickly clenched his palm into a fist upon noticing something strange about the female. She is a human...

he said. His tone shifted as he continued, "But I don't believe it was a bad thing. "Wolves live among the pack with their own way of life. The fact that we were willing to raise a human girl at all was an act of mercy, but none of us can accept a human as our Alpha's mate, especially when your rise to Alpha was built on our family's support. "It's time you face reality."

Blaze proudly added. "Tell me more about werewolves!" Ella eagerly said. She wanted to know more about Blaze. "Oh, wait! I forgot to ask you. Are you born human or a werewolf?" she added. Blaze chuckled and pinched her nose. "Of course, I was born a human!" Blaze said and laughed at how innocently Ella asked. She pouted her red lips and smacked his shoulder. "Tell me about the wolves, again," Ella ordered while grinning.

Sam's pov It's Rilly and Maggie, I could hear their voices. I was wondering what was going on when I heard Rilly say no party, big on texting. That made me happy, I could not hold back any longer,I let out a loud and long howl, not being able to wait until I get to see Rilly again. Good thing this room is sound proof and warlock proof. I can't wait to text Rilly when I change back, I think that's what I'm going to do as soon as I change back, well maybe I'll shower first.
