Wednesday Adams Novels & Stories

just a little bit. "Well, well, if it isn't our little pretender returning," I look at the door and see Adam leaning against the frame. "Not now, Adam," I say impatiently. "What did the boss do this time?" he asks, smiling. "Or rather, what did you do this time?" I groan in disgust. Do I have such a bad reputation? "Operation Monroe," I say quietly. Adam's eyes widen in shock, then he bursts into loud laughter. "Are you kidding me?" he asks, breathless. "You're the girl who screwed up the whole mission?" he asks while trying to catch his breath.

Nadhea gasped in fear as the door was closed tightly by Adam. Brittany sighed then said, " I told you not to approach a man named Adam Smith. He's the creepy guy at the Alpha level."The same words made Nadhea turn to Brittany to start a business. The closet opened. There is a woman's clothing that Adam said to replace the losses he made. Nadia got out of bed, but she didn't. Her energy is drained after a full night of hard sex from Adam.

Mariah went out with Pete at 3:30 to meet Blaire while Adam stayed at home all day since he had some unfinished work at home. He didn’t go anywhere since Mariah came yesterday and he didn’t felt like going to his casinos for the very first time to check if things were working fine there. Mason knew something was up as Adam never does this, he always checks up on his casinos on every weekend and takes Mason. It was Sunday and Adam had no plans on going anywhere as he also ordered Mason to postpone all his meetings and that he’ll be working at home today.

Maybe some sleep would help him to get beyond the awful visions dancing around in his weary mind. The next day was Sunday, and like every Sunday, the Adams family and the Pike family sat in the same pew of the First Baptist Church. They were surrounded by friends, family, townsfolk, and this Sunday, even some visitors from out of town, though not the two strangers Cordia had seen yesterday at Jaris’s birthday party. Margaret explained that both her niece and nephew had been literally exhausted, and she did not think she should wake them, not even for church service. Of course, no one disagreed, knowing what the two had been through.

When he walks me to my door we stand there a moment longer than necessary, the way we always do now, and he says goodnight in a voice that means considerably more than that and I go inside and lean against the closed door and think about sweetheart and nearly home and the way he said both like they were things he’d been carrying for a while. I fall asleep still thinking about it. ----- Wednesday is ordinary. That’s the thing. It’s just a normal Wednesday. No gala. No appearance. No Victor schedule. Adrian texts in the morning about a Knight Corporation thing he needs my opinion on, which has become normal somehow,

Adam said, his voice filled with delight. "Welcome back," Adeline replied, beaming. Together, they shared a heartfelt smile. Adeline stepped aside, inviting Adam in. "Come in, dear one," she said. Adam entered, his presence illuminating the space. The door closed softly behind him. "Thank you for yesterday," Adam said. Adeline's eyes sparkled. "Anytime, Adam." Their bond strengthened, forged by kindness and trust. Adam settled comfortably beside Adeline. Trust filled the space. "Last night, Dad worried sick about me," Adam confessed.

The name Adams was enough to make my blood boil, and I slammed the bottle on the table in front of me " What's the update about him? How are the investors coming along?" He was silent for a while, and then he responded, " They aren't budging, and...Adams himself isn't helping matters." " And what do you mean by that?" I asked. " I had to go in. Went to the mansion, in place of his assistant, and he was in total ruin. he seemed so devastated and shattered, but mostly because he had a fallout with his wife." I felt my fingers clench into fists.

Adams wasn't planning to have me here was he? A bigger part of me was thinking there was more to his kindness towards me.And thinking of the possible options made me shudder in fear. Could he be having a spark for me? He pulled me closer to him, reconnecting his lips with mine, his lips started moving downward, leaving a trail of his kisses on my collar bone and then the swell of my breast. I struggled to maintain my shaky control, “Adams not here.”breaking from the kiss. “I can have you anywhere”he said,
