Adamo: Don’t send me an emoji with a tongue sticking out unless you’re ready to use it. Sade sucked in a breath, locked her phone, and tossed it onto the couch beside her. What the hell am I doing? She shook her head and tried to focus on the movie, but Adamo’s words played on repeat in her mind.

He asked when he saw that I was lost in thoughts. "I'm tired, let's do this tomorrow." I said, waving him off. Addams was a human, so he knew little or nothing about the mate bond. "If you say so." He shrugged, closing his laptop. "Good day boss." Addams greeted, heading for the door. "Wait." Aiden stopped him. " Do you like what you do? Being my wife's assistant?" Aiden asked. Aiden used the word wife not to confuse Addams. "Oh! Ofcourse I do boss." He smiled a little.

I nodded my head and of course, I had no interest in that show but on her the way her pupils dilated, the way she smiled watching that girl act like a bitch. She was narrating to me about the series and I simply heard everything she had to say, "Wednesday isn't the kind of person to wish somebody good fortune.
