Chapter One Hundred and Twenty-Nine — Quiet Weight A month passed through the mansion without announcing itself, and my body stopped cooperating with denial. I felt the change before I acknowledged it. Before mirrors confirmed it. Before I caught the women watching me with eyes that lingered a fraction longer than they used to. The weight arrived first, low and constant, a pull that greeted me before I opened my eyes each morning. My belly was heavier. Not suddenly. Not dramatically. Persistently. As if gravity itself had shifted its rules around me and decided I would be the one to feel it.

"I've been eating everything in sight and I've still lost… let's see… almost twelve pounds! Ugh, it's so annoying." I lifted my gaze. It was true. On her petite frame, the loss was dramatic. Her cheekbones were sharper, her collarbones pronounced, giving her a gaunt, almost modelesque look. I let my shoulders slump, painting misery across my face. "I don't get it… I've been doing everything right, but I've gained ten pounds. I feel horrible." My display of defeat was the fuel she needed. Her preening intensified. "I guess it's just genetics! Some people are just born to be lucky, you know? Right, Zach?"

The doctor had no idea where this sudden excess fat on my body had come from. In my previous life, I had been just as confused. My food intake and diet had never been excessive, yet I still kept gaining a ton of weight. Had I not learned the whole truth right before I died in my last life, I never would have known that I was just a substitute the Graham family had adopted, a scapegoat meant to take on all the misfortunes meant for Freya Graham, the real daughter of the Grahams. Freya Graham loved indulging herself, eating and drinking to her heart's content every day, yet all the weight ended up on me.

With her appetite back, the title seemed like it was already in her pocket. Soon, competition day arrived. When Selina saw me, she froze. Her eyes quickly scanned the bead on my wrist before she blurted out, "Why haven't you gained any weight?" I raised an eyebrow at her. "Can't help it. I just don't gain weight easily." Her brow furrowed as she muttered continuously under her breath. "Impossible. Are there really people who don't gain weight..." Watching her question her entire existence, I smiled faintly. Of course there were not. Fat did not disappear. It was only transferred.

Her next goal is to reach her ideal weight, which she continues to struggle with. People don’t realise that life after an eating disorder is not that easy. I keep my fingers crossed for her every day, but either way, I’m just so happy with her progress.

Don't get me wrong; of course I want to be sexy as hell, but I also want to stay healthy. I wouldn't say that I am fat; you might label me as mid-size and I could flawlessly fit into any size 11 outfit. I have to blame my weight gain on all the junk food I consumed, and before I knew it, time was beginning to take its toll on me. Since I put on some weight, I usually wear clothes that keep me covered aside from when I'm working out at the gym. Fuck, having hot sexual intercourse with more than one person is all I can think of.

Elaine’s POV The cool morning air filled my lungs as I ran through the dense woods, the sound of my footsteps muffled by the soft earth and fallen leaves. The forest was now my sanctuary, a place where I could let go of the weight of my responsibilities and focus on something simpler—my physical strength. Since I started eating werewolf food, I’ve been gaining weight. My pace quickened, my muscles burning with the effort. I pushed myself harder, wanting to feel the burn, to distract myself from the thoughts that haunted me.

With makeup, her small eyes actually gave her that soft, delicate kind of pretty. I pretended not to notice the smug look on her face and sighed in frustration. “I don’t even know what’s going on. I barely eat anything every day, and my trainer works out with me. Why haven’t I lost any weight at all?” Seeing how defeated I looked, Chloe couldn’t hide her smile anymore. “Maybe it’s just fate. I’m one of those lucky people. No matter how much fried chicken or burgers I eat, I still lose weight.”

Whitley would do all she could to prepare delicious and nutritious food to help her recover. In the morning, Fia lay on the bed and pinched her waist and then her face. She felt she was getting a bit plumper. “Conrad!” Conrad walked out of the bathroom. “What is it?” “I’m getting fatter!” “No, you’re perfect.” He moved closer and pinched her face. “This is best.” However, from his hands, he could tell that she did gain a bit more weight. But she still looked very skinny. Since she was so light, even if she were to gain a dozen more pounds, she still wouldn’t look fat.

I said as I started to eat unashamedly. "It's fine with me. It's better to see a woman who has plenty of food than to eat slowly." "Oh, it is not my thing." I was smiling as I talked. "Amazing, you don't worry about gaining more weight? I guess you are not body conscious like those women, huh?" I drank water and I stare at him. "Nah. No matter how much I eat, I don't gain weight. Well, I get it from my mother. We are a race of food is life but we don't get easily fat."
