Ambrose interjected. "I see...well I ran into some more horrible monsters but managed to run keep myself alive. If Ana hadn't opened another portal, I would've been dead meat," I said. "Also, one more thing." "What's that?" Ana asked. "Ever since I came back, I've been having weird dreams." I hesitated. I wasn't sure if I wanted to talk about the next part. "What dreams?" Ambrose was curious. "Um...crazy ones...nothing terrible but they were um...sexual," I let out a nervous laugh.

Meaning, that she knew me as well as myself and knew when something was bothering me. I sighed in defeat. "I've been having this weird dream the past few nights. I can't really describe it—there's not too much to describe. All I remember is a moon over a desert and the sand is all bloody, in a thin line that kind of looks like a long ribbon. And there's...." No matter how many times I dreamt it, the details were still fuzzy, and nothing really happened. "There's a shadow walking toward me… but that's all."

Drakken woke up with a start, sweat pouring down his face. He had just had a terrible dream, one where his deceased mother was crying out for justice. In the dream, she told him that evil was lurking within the Kingdom, brought by a stranger. The stranger was the only one in the pack who didn't belong, and she warned him to be careful. The dream was so vivid that it felt real, and it left Drakken feeling uneasy.

I suddenly opened my eyes, drenched in sweat. My heart hammered against my ribs like it wanted to escape. The tent was quiet, sunlight softly filtering through the fabric. “Oh my God… it was just a dream,” I sighed, relief crashing over me. But the images lingered Liam’s intense eyes, his hands on me, the way my body had betrayed me so completely. Who on earth has dreams like that about their friend? ~ A M E L I A ~ I wondered if I had gotten even a minute of peaceful sleep last night, which is something I seemed to ask myself every morning I’d wake since… I can’t even remember how long. It felt like forever at this point. Those three recurring dreams taunted me every night without permitting me any relief by allowing me to force myself to wake up. I woke up feeling pain in my head and body. I had a strange dream last night. I felt like I had a one-night stand with a stranger.
