I groan as I turn off the stupid alarm that interrupted me. ‘It was just getting to the best part, he was already at the freaky stage, eyes red and sexy.’ I cry within myself as I get out of bed still cursing the alarm clock that interrupted my dream. I sigh and sluggishly take off my clothes, walking into the bathroom to brush my teeth and bathe. Long gone are those days when I would feel weird and scared about having such inappropriate dreams, it has been happening for the past four years. WILLOW I have been having nightmares. Strange dreams where I’m being haunted. In my dreams, I am always running away from some faceless dark force and every single time, I end up underground, in a dark room, akin to a basement. Creepy as hell. Having these dreams have been sucking the strength out of my bones. They’ve definitely been a distraction, especially with all the exams I have to prep for.

She teased, playfully tweaking my nose. I swatted her hand away, sending a playful glare. We sat on the bed, enjoying each other's company. "Anything new to share?" Emilia asked, flashing her signature grin. "I've been having weird dreams," I confessed, avoiding her gaze. "How do you mean?" Emilia asked, scooting closer. "It's difficult to explain. I dream of weird places and giant wolf-like creatures speaking in parables, saying something about finding my purpose." Emilia shrugged. "Wow, that's a lot... but I don't think it means anything." I blinked, surprised. How could it not mean anything?

she whispered quietly as she looked around the room. The curiosity and concern overwhelmed me as I looked at my longtime friend. I leaned in close to her and asked just as quietly, “What is it?” “Well,” she began taking another look around the room before continuing. “I have been having dreams as well but not of Laylan, or unicorns, or fairies, or anything like that. I always thought that maybe I just had multiple personalities and the other happened to be a man named Daemon. But recently, I have been dreaming dreams as if they were his memories or something,” she stopped and looked at me.

He seemed to be fading. “I’ll see you again, Jennah.” The buzzing grew louder. Jennah opened her eyes. Her alarm clock was going off. She reached over and slapped a hand on the snooze button and then focused to make sure she was in her room. She blew out a breath and tried to shake the fog from her mind. That explained a few things. The dream was so real, but not at the same time. Too bad, really. That man, Dominic, her mind had invented was quite nice to look at. No more chocolate caramel popcorn for you before bed, she thought as she slowly sat up.

I dreamt that a dead person was still alive, and I even dreamt that I changed how I lived…”

My hands become green, soon I am also wheat, and I wave happily in the wind. And as I am waiting I find a dark shadow coming onwards towards me…and then I wake up..
