"Welcome to my humble abode." Leon gestured around the room as they walked in. "Wow." Joni muttered looking around the room. It wasn't humble in anyway at all. Instead she was sure it looked like a five star hotel room. "You call this humble?". She snorted.

It was the first time ,I was going to be sleeping in his house. "Welcome to my humble abode,I have always wanted to say this."he said with a nervous smile. He looks so shy and cute. "Thanks." "You welcome." "Come baby, I have something I always wanted to show you." "Do you always leave your house lights on."I said interrupting him. "No ,I was sure it was switched off before I left."he said as he unlocked the door and we walked into his beautiful well decorated house. "Maybe you have a visitor or it could be a maid."I said unsurly.

He added, sitting immediately on one of the leather chairs in the sitting room. "Well welcome to my humble home." I replied, gesticulating widely. "Wait! What is so humble about this beautiful home, everything in it smells money, like it is well polished for a royal family." he said, nodding his head like an agama lizard. "It's okay, Abdul, you haven't stopped with this your over exaggerations ? I know you, just be turning every small thing into a big deal, okay? This your mouth won't kill you but it will definitely put you into trouble, a very big one." I said sarcastically and we both started laughing out loudly like hyenas.

A small smile tugged at my lips, and the words I had longed to say finally broke free. “Home sweet home.” The gates creaked open, welcoming us back. And as I stepped inside, I knew that this was just the beginning.

“You ready?” Jen frowns slightly. “For my own apartment?” “Just trust me.” Suspicion flashes across her face again as I slowly push the door open. “Surprise!” Jen blinks. A banner stretches across the living room reading: WELCOME HOME JEN GET WELL SOON! A couple of balloons floated near the ceiling while streamers hang loosely around the apartment.

We got to his house faster than I expected and I was a bit pleased to discover that his place was not quite far from mine. His apartment was cozy and tastefully furnished with cream paintings and well decorated walls. The whole place screamed class and the art paintings on the wall said the same too. "Welcome to my humble abode." He said, placing enough emphasis on "humble." I laughed quietly and then responded; "Your house is beautiful and trust me, there's nothing humble about this place." I replied and he flashed a smile in return, sat on the cushion and started untying his shoe lace, apparently in a bid to pull it off.

You found the perfect place. He walked to the house, opened the door, and said, "A home away from home." Inside, the house was a nostalgic ode to a bygone era, its decor reminiscent of a cherished past. The furniture was an eclectic mix of worn wooden pieces and floral-patterned upholstery, evoking the elegance of a vintage home. The air was imbued with the comforting scent of aged wood and lavender, a touch of welcoming warmth to the senses. Soft light filtered through lace curtains, casting gentle shadows across the room, adding to the atmosphere of serene timelessness. "If you don’t like it, we can renovate..."

I want more and I don't think we are gonna get out of this shower. We've finally reached my apartment. I fish for a key inside my bag and unlocks it before pushing open the door. I switch on the lights and allow him to walk inside. “Welcome to my humble abode.” I place the key inside the fruits bowl on top of the table. It's a habit.
